Perfect location, dated/historical framework with a modern facelift. The bathrooms are tile which collect a sweaty film if you take a hot shower. They also put your knees in your ears if you need to use the toilet, but I hear that's supposed to be good for you, so do with that what you will.

I stayed here recently, basic hotel, very good location. It needs updating. We were asked for photo ID when checking in, I've never been asked for this in any other hotel, it seems its on the website. We ordered a drink at midnight on a Saturday night and we were told by the rude barman that the bar was closed. We decided to have breakfast and were told that they were out of bread. (I was going to offer to go to the shop to buy some but the waiting staff directed us to another place that was open for breakfast). The best thing about this hotel is its location.

Clean room and helpful staff. No specific parking for hotel, but free parking until 7am out the front of the hotel during the week. No air con in rooms so room was quite hot. Otherwise a lot of complimentary toiletries and overall quiet and good experience

Wonderful quality rooms, fabulous breakfast, excellent pub/restaurant in the complex that serves well priced quality Irish fare. The staff are very helpful and courteous.
Only down was the traffic noise but there was serious building works taking place at the time of my last visit.
Have visited several times now. The hotel is very centrala real plus.response / report this review -

Staff are rude. Check in policy is unusual.
We had to check in at just past 10, when we were greeted by a sour-faced, uncaring, impassionate receptionist.
The receptionist said that all quests even the ones not on the reservation had to provide a proof of ID. Hotel policy. Quite unusual, whenever we have stayed in hundreds of hotels without being asked that. When we booked it, it was mentioned to us.
There was also a pesky fly in the lobby.
They had no duty manager on, neither was he contactable.
Very bad management of complaints. Especially for tired, but happy quests at 10:30 pm.response / report this review -

Great location. Central position for everywhere. Most things you need are supplied. Well stocked tea & coffee facilities in the room. Really helpful staff who want you to have a great time.

Stayed here for one night with my friend. The szaff is helpful and kind. The room was clean and comfy :) Moreover the locatipn of the hotel is really good. So close to the city center!

Amazing Hotel situated just stroll away from the main shopping area in Dublin. Very friendly staff and great customer service. Traditional Irish bar "Blarney Inn" with some amazing staff. Highly recommended to anyone !
