centrally located independent bookshop, selling new books mostly ( smaller section of bargain and value books also) eclectic stock, the bookshop itself has a downstairs cafe area at back, and while its not the largest , its well stocked ( good local section) . Could almost have more stock given its size, some of the shelves can look somewhat bare.
Customer ordering service. Popular with locals in the town.

I first visited the store in February 2003 with my young son. He loved the Harry Potter books. I bought the first four books. The clerk gave me their phone number just in case I need anything in the future. I said I was visiting from the United States. They said it was OK that they would ship to me. Every time a new Harry Potter book came out I called them and sure enough they got it for me. The time they took to write a note with every book shipped I appreciated. The way they came wrapped in brown paper and string my son thought back to his time in the bookstore. They treated him so nice. They even gave him part of the Harry Potter display to bring home. He is now 24, for his birthday this year I made sure that I got his Harry Potter book. So thankful it is still open and the clerks are still just as nice as I remember.
