had a great meal. quality food.
arrive before the tour buses. it fills fast.
Beautiful pub, excellent beers, good food and traditional music played directly among the guests. Great experience.
Nice atmosphere, nice people, friendly, helpful, flexible, nice live music all good would have given 5 stars if excellent music (more singing not only instrumental there were a few songs but would have liked some more) and if food had been slightly cheaper. Parking was 100m away which is ok but when it is raining and with kids but let us say 4,5 stars ;)
TOURIST TRAP
Lunch experience was very poor. We walked in right before a huge tourist bus was let off for lunch, which made the place feel very unauthentic and supppperrr fake. Food was awful. Straight. Everything came out way to fast to be fresh. Poor quality ingredients. Dried out beef on the burger and stale chips with the fish & chips. Service was fine, order and pay at the bar.
Lucky to experience dinner here. Make sure you go to the bar to order. The seating was confusing at first, but quaint. 🍺 Food was awesome as was the drink. Atmosphere was unmatched. Hope to make it back one day. 😄
Met up with new friends on our trip and the music was so much fun! We had the mussels delicious!
Had a fantastic pulled port bap. Lovely cosy bar for a pint and chat. Not for summers day, it's a little dark inside. Super friendly staff and a fine pint
Service was fast, even with how busy it was. Food came out fast as well. Not fully impressed with the meals, but how they managed to seat us so quickly deserves a 5star on it own
The service was wonderful, the people were friendly, and the food came out fast. The food was average of not below. This may be a great place to come drink and have a great time, but don't come here counting on a delicious meal.
Right in the heart of the village, famous for its traditional Irish Music Sessions.
Very accommodating the staff.
Be prepared to be sitting close and personal as this place is very busy. Great food, with their own unique format, pick from the menu, pay at the bar and your food is delivered to your table.
Cheap drinks, good food, good live music and a buzzing atmosphere. Outside area is stoney and a few benches, could be made into a decent bar garden and a small area for the kids. Overall, great if you don't have kids but could be better if you do.
Lovely staff, live music, fast service and food was delicious - highly recommended!
Definitely recommend we had the goats cheese salad and Guinness stew which were delicious
The place to eat after a long walk on The Cliffs of Moher. Nice, abundant food. Locals too.
Really disappointed, the place is now a tourist mill, My first visit was great 19 years ago, plenty of fun, music and conversation. Now the tour busses roll up, disgorge their passengers, they waddle in for their "Authentic Irish Experience" the waddle their arses back on the bus.
