A very unique place. Huge history in this building and the owners are pleased to share this. A recent development is the cafe. There is an excellent chef who has great ideas for interesting new dishes. The food is superb and focuses on using local suppliers and ingredients. Thoroughly recommend both the castle and the cafe.
Wonderfully restored castle in a very small town with just around 120 solid inhabitors (there's more people in summer). Lovely surroundings with a lake in front of you and a knight-like forest to your left. The castle itself is also very neat and it stores a dozen hidden treasures, so definitely have a look around. 10/10 would recommend
Beautiful place beside the sea. Gorgeous weather.Fantastic food. A heavenly place. Loved it.
The staff is friendly and the location is superb. It has walking paths along the waterfront and you can see all the activity in the harbor. The public areas in the building are furnished in period style and available at all hours, but it's still a quiet place to be at! We wish we stayed more than one night!
A gem of a place to stay. Good breakfast comfortable rooms and welcoming owners
I wish I could have stayed here longer. This B&B is so warm and welcoming. The staff is delightful and helpful. The grounds are a joy to explore, the walking trails are a must as they follow the lake and offer some stunning views. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and inviting. Very clean and modern amenities were available. I can't wait to come back.
Very friendly staff warm and cosy highly recommended will be going back
