Great food, nice atmosphere. Definitely the best restaurant in Dungarvan. Can be hard to get a booking though!

Food very good. Had tasting menu. A bit pricey but excellent flavours and good variety of quality food. Good wine selection

It may be difficult to get a booking here, and it's not cheap but it is well worth the work and expense of having a night in the Tannery.
The food is exquisitely prepared under the supervision of the owner, whose wife oversees the efficient service provided to each customer.
Added to this is a wonderful wine list and tastefully decorated environment.

Best meal we had in dungarvan. Great service and excellent food. The plaice was beautifully done. The set evening meal is quite good value for the quality. My son had the ribeye and it was delicious too.

After a 10 year gap, I finally ate again here recently. Thrilled to see they are still at the top of their game. Very busy on a Tuesday after a bank holiday which tells you they are doing everything right.

Only a faint shadow of the restaurant it once was. I've been visiting the Tannery over a period of about 15 years. On my most recent visit, after a break of two years, I found that while it looks the same, and the service is good, the food was poor. The soup was cold, butchery of main course meat was terrible, fish was mediocre, vegetables were cooked erratically, and the worst was that I was hungry leaving the restaurant due in part to receiving only tea-spoons in volume of potatoes as the side to the entree. It's sad to see such a good restaurant try to coast (poorly) on past reputation and standard. And so I wave goodbye to the Tannery and would not risk returning, not any longer recommend it, as I have done so many times previously.

Excellent food, great service and lovely ambience The G&Ts to start with were sublime, Hendricks served with Thomas Henry tonic, slices of cucumber and cucumber syrup! Even the homemade bread and butter were a delight Will definitely go back when in the area

So lovely to come back here.. My last visit was over 10 years ago. A fantastic vegetarian menu was served in a friendly & relaxed atmosphere! I won't wait as long to come back again!!

I have to say one of the best restaurants I have ever been in. The food was so good you just have to book in and take my word for it. You haven't tasted food until you've tasted this food. Seriously tasty. Also the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

This place is a foodies delight. Every item we had was super flavorful from the dip served with the bread all the way through to the chocolate fondant desert. The service was equally as warm and friendly. We had Aisling as our primary server and she was a delight, which made the experience even better, however, everyone was terrific. This was our second amazing meal in Ireland. Well done to everyone.
