Great place for a night out serve food during day with music and sports gr8 place to meet people of all kind I have met Canadian, Australians,, other Europeans .love it
Great place for all occasions. Allows for easy entrance into DNA nightclub for anyone who wants to enjoy a club atmosphere after evening drinks. 5⭐
I am 29 first time at the skeff. Friday night. A 17 year old brushed against me and started a confrontation. I avoided it but for reason he pressed up against me. The youngster told me he was 17. Neither person working there saw anything as their back were turned as I was facing the bar, I was coherent and not drunk. I was asked to leave so I left. His mother turned up as did his older brother. They let children into this bar. Never again. Granted it's busy but i will avoid the drunken teenagers next time.
Big pub in the center, good for dinner and lunch, too. Good service, nice food, and the usual selection of beers. On of the best places to watch matches with your friends. A little bit to noise, music is too loud for me. I don't like the fact the it transform into a disco during weekends, but this is my personal idea.
Great food, lovely decor, central and great live music and atmosphere
Great looking place inside and out, busy but not crowded on Friday night. Bar 6 (top floor) was very slow as only one bartender doing both cocktails and other drinks so waited 15 minutes for a pint.
Just popped in, and had to stay. The feel and the layout are excellent. There was a little cafe and buffet in the back. Stayed for a proper good garlic chicken wrap and club sandwich, thoroughly recommend during the day.
Ordered the full Irish which was pretty nice, however it came without baked beans as advertised with no explanation. The breakfast is also supposed to come with tea and coffee but the coffee I ordered never came either. I would have brought it up with staff earlier but they didn't come to check how I was getting on, I guess because they had asked me to pay in advance. I eventually got up and asked for my coffee before returning to my breakfast. It still never came. I was in a rush after I had finished so I went up to the bar again to ask for my coffee to be a takeaway and finally I got it.
Poor service.
I probably shouldn't give a five here as workmen were in and out measuring things but asides from that everything was great. The attention and service were unbeatable and everything tasted great also. It was very reasonably priced too. I could be wrong but with multiple levels I am not sure if it is disabled friendly.
Great venue with great live music . Staff was a small bit rude tho
Busy pub in the centre of Galway, good atmosphere and good selection of beers and spirits to choose from. I was drinking smithwicks while I was there and it wasn't great but perhaps not many people drink that in there.
Someone once described this as a very old bar. Its been around for a long time, but has been totally redesigned. Its better now than it ever was. They often have live music, and often it was too louf
looks quite commercial from the outside but beautiful interior. Great craft beer, I'd recommend the Galway Hooker Craft Beer.. fantastic location in the city centre
Awesome place! It's very huge and cozy. The restaurant offers a wide range of meals and the prices are fair. IMHO the best pub in galway
