It's a nice small B&B, clean, good breakfast, close to center, very kind stuff, strong Wifi-connection - but quite expansive. For a very small single-room I had to pay 98€ for one night! Sorry, that is too much.

Located next to UCC, 10 minutes walk from the city center. Friendly staff, nice rooms. Terrace on the river Lee, very nice to relax, and hear the trout leap. Good breakfast selection.

The only bad thing to say is that they put us in the front bedroom next to the main door, which meant that we were woken up every morning around 7 am with the door bell going off and people coming in and out. Other than that the hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was helpful. Nice cooked breakfast!

It is in a nice area.. good distance from city centre walking distance.. easy to find.. easy to get bus to and from city centre.. nice quiet park of the city not much road noise

I booked a room here on the 29th of march to stay on the 30th of march when i booked they had 3 rooms available so i booked the room i wanted . I went to the shandon bells to book in on the 30th of march at 8 at night when i went toi the reception i was told they had over booked and had no room available for me. I was shocked and asked why i wasnt contacted and tolkd this earlier that day as my friend who i booked in there had come up from tralee to stay and was left with no where for my friend to stay at 8 at night i wasnt even offered an apoligy or offered to ring other b and b s to find a room for my friend. This is so unacceptable and just not how a business should be run i will never book to stay here again. I have stayed here before on a few occasions but will never do so again anyone booking here would really need to ring half an hour before they check in to make sure they actualy have a room for you to stay in so disappointed.

Don't book it! We booked it in advance and they told us check in is till 9 pm an we arrived at 7.45 pm and no one opened! We tried two different phone numbers and rang the door several times for over 45 minutes. We met 4 other guests who told us, that the owner already left, so we were forced to search for an other B&B which was really tricky as the first 8 B&Bs we tried were booked. And they still asked us to pay for it!!! DON'T BOOK IT! If they would have to leave for an emergency they still could have told us with a note at the door, so I am sure it wasn't, also because they asked us to pay!
