Great place to relax. Good food. Massage and other treatments. Very good hosting.
This is a Big House. The gardens, that you get access to if you're staying in the house, are lovely and well worth multiple strolls around. The house itself is lush. The en suite in our room was very well kitted out - a very large open shower and bath tub. Room was comfortable and clean. With access to the swimming pool and gardens it's a bit of a treat. Breakfast was excellent and made to order.
Beautiful place, would highly recommend, very peaceful.
Fantastic day out, really well laid out with lots for the kids. Cafe is expensive
Lovely afternoon tea in the drawing room so peaceful and thetickong clock reminded me of being at my nans. Then we did the gardens using the map. The unusual plants and beautifully kept areas were such a pleasure to admire. Then we went on an adventure through the fairy garden and the wild west and the viki gs and on and on. Great time had by 3 adults and their inner children. So great on ace to take the little ones. Loved the shop with the fairies for sale too.
Great b&b. Quiet and for getting away. Great hosts. Comfortable rooms. Gardens are awesome!
Amazing gardens, little fairies everywhere. Calm and comfortable. Had a dinner after archery, beautiful!
Very creative and we'll worth a visit. With or without the kids. 😎
Very lovely place, nice rest and breakfast was superb.
Beautiful place, amazing garden.
Kilmokea is a wonderful Country house which I have visited many times and my love for the place never seems to fade, the more I visit. I have stayed in both Rose and Lily room and what a treat they have been from the beautifully crafted furniture to the views over the manors heritage garden of which it is only one of very few on the Island of Ireland that holds heritage status. If you want a treat go for dinner in the main dining room, it's heaven for anyone with fine taste buds from its perfectly cooked roast leg of lamb to its wonderfully luxurious chocolate Mousse all made in house by the wonderfully competent chefs Emma and Geraldine and just to reaffirm that its of the highest of standards this establishment has received the highly regarded AA 5 diamond award one of only 15 establishment that have received this for fine food. When you're strolling around the gardens you might meet resident horticulturist Maurice who will be more than happy to answer any question you may have, while knowing when you're return to a warm cup of tea and a host of homemade delights to keep you going for the afternoon ahead of fun filled adventure in the surrounding area if you're feeling adventurous or just relax in the garden or swimming pool if raining, I hope you enjoy your stay in the near future but I better you leave it there so you can unfold some of the many other treats for yourself when you visit!! :)
