Rocca Tiles

  I've been dealing with Rocca tiles for years . Ever since they were in Quay street, when customer service was excellent. If you are buying tiles there make sure your tiler decides how much you need of everything . Also if the tiles you want aren't in stock , don't take the rest of the stuff like grout etc until the tiles are in because if you need to return anything "it's company policy not to take back anything if it's over 4 weeks so if the delay is partly due to their not having tiles in stock , tough !
  The reason given is that they don't know how the stuff has been stored but presumably if I stored it in scorching temperatures for under 4 weeks that's okay , I can still get a refund ?
  The few bits I had to return would have been a paltry sum anyway but it would have made good business sense to just give me the money back in light of all I've spent there over the years and would have spent in the future. Very dissatisfied with their customer service.

  I specifically chose Rocca tiles following previous good experiences with them even though we are over 100 km. from the shop.
  We visited the showrooms and chose 5 different tiles and agreed I would e-mail the measurements for a quote etc.This I did. A few days later I received a phone call saying one of the choices was no longer available. Fair enough. I asked for a reply to my e-mail giving the quote for the rest and asked the available tiles be held for me and I would pay a deposit. I received nothing.
  We went to the show rooms c. two weeks later and asked about not getting a reply to my e-mail. The sales person said as the person I had dealt with was off that day they could not access my e-mail !. We were told that they would only hold an order on FULL payment anyway. They had no interest in either assisting, or giving advice, on delivery. I paid for part of the order and took what I could in my car.
  The following week I rang at 9.30 a.m. to say I was on my way to buy further tiles and were they still in stock as I did not want to travel if they were not. They said that sales were engaged and would ring me back. I rang again 30 minutes later to get the same answer. At 11.30 they rang back at which point I was in a traffic jam 500 m. from the show room.! The sales person said the phone operator was in Dublin but I saw an e-mail timed at 9.34. saying to ring me. Luckily the tiles I wanted were still in stock so I took them and the remains of my first order. I will not be going back!!
