McDonagh's has a great selection of DIY materials as well as a superb garden centre. Great value as well, very friendly staff.

I found the staff very experienced and helpful. Technology may not have been their strong point but they did know their stuff and helped someone like me who did not have a clue.

Staff are a bit slow with the technology (tills and card machines etc.) but they have a good selection of stuff and reasonable prices. A course or two for the staff would help as they are really lacking the competition in this area. You could be waiting 20mins behind one customer because of the lack of knowledge of modern technology from the staff.
