We got there around 6:30pm before the crowd. Waited only for about 5 minutes for seating. It appears they don't give each table for a designated waiter/waitress. The waiter used a tablet to take our orders. Food cam in about 10 minutes. I had the 🦀 crawls and my spouse had fan fried salmon. And we had onion rings. The 🦀 crawls were fabulous. There were 10 crawls there cooked with garlic and butter oil. My spouse liked her salmon and salad was fresh. And the onion rings were crunchy. I also had a soda. The whole meal for two was only £40 plus tips. Price is extremely reasonable. I will stay at Killarney for 3 nights. I will stop by and try out the fish and chips which looks good to me as well.

Mixed feelings about the food. The cod and haddock and chips were so-so, didn't taste as fresh as hoped. The fried squid was very fresh but the batter was slightly too light so it didn't taste crispy nor satisfying. The Atlantic prawns were excellent, full of flavour. Overall our party agreed that the batter being used on the fish and prawns were under seasoned. I personally think it would be better if their mains included mushy peas as standard and not an extra, otherwise you feel kind of nasty eating that much yellow food (fried fish and fried potatoes) on one plate! The prices are high for what you get so I would say this is not a value for money place, and I still maintain that the best fish and chips are from local chippys rather than restaurants like this. Bit offended by the notice that every person must order one main meal minimum at "peak times". They also don't advertise when the peak times are. This shows a profit centric attitude rather than a customer centric one, which is disappointing.

Really nice place food. The service was good but the were unable to give customers time. They didn't realise we had finished our food and wanted the bill or when we wanted more food or when our water was gone. I think that was due to the busy holiday season though. Overall I'd recommend it.

Quality seafood and responsive service but they fry their fish on too low of a heat with a thick breading, causing a fry that's soaked in grease (thereby losing the crunch). The seafood was high quality too but the place is busy so the staff doesn't really allow you to savor your meal at all. As soon as your done eating they're giving you your check and it's a little stressful.

Unbelievably fast service, and unbelievably delicious. We had the open crab salad sandwich special, fish and chips and squid. Fair price and friendly service. Freshest seafood we had during a weeklong trip to Ireland. Yum yum yum.

Most important - get the onion rings with whatever else you get. Everything was prepared perfectly, especially fried stuff. Busy, casual, no alcohol. Not fancy, but great if you just need seafood in your system.
