Great friendly locals ..firemen from swords and a bunch of stags from Galwaygentlemen the lot..great dancing and crack..music was brilliant 🎺🎷
Great for the craic, not so much family.. As you'll want to tell the children to go home so you can enjoy yourself with everyone else
A standard Irish pub. Warm and welcoming with a decent selection of beers and wines. We didn't try the food but it smelt great. We did try the off license but unfortunately the malbec sold there was not great at all, disappointing since it cost €15
Lively pub. Packed on Saturday night but can move around easily. Didn't eat there but food looked great
Great Irish pub with nice food and atmosphere the home made bread is fantastic
Surely best Carlinford pub. Always great atmosphere.
Food a bit pricey but delicious staff very friendly, one of our favourite places in Carlingford to eat & drink.
Thats the tripadvisor's top food place in carlingford?!??
Just big portions serving queues of american tourists. Staff with headsets like in mcdonalds to serve even faster this fast food. Super unhealthy food, ALL swims in tons of butter and cream, even salads. Even oysters covered with cheddar and salt, and they cant roast them plain, all seems to be pre-packaged.
Kids options are screaming for HSE notice, mcdonalds looks healthier and tastier.
In every countryside pub you can get better quality (and much much cheaper) real irish food.
On top heineken sun covers make proper fast food experience.
And dirty, smelly toilets.
It was my worst irish food in 10 years
PJ's was Margo and my favorite restaurant/pub of our whole Ireland trip. The first night we went I had oysters (for the first time) and they were amazing. Margo had fish and chips, also excellent. We went again for a pint the next day (the entire staff is lovely, by the way) and again for dinner on our last night in Carlingford, where I had ribs and she had the beef & Guinness pie. The food was consistently excellent. For the atmosphere, the warm and friendly staff, and the food, this place gets five stars from me.
Amazing food and service. Great location.
Amazing food, amazing service - busy but well worth the wait for a table- calamari was delishious
Good food; pleasant, chatty and very efficient staff; a spot-on pint of Guinness; only brilliant!
Great place in a great town, loads of places to sit with mates and a good size beer garden, food is a bit pricey though.
Great little pub. Large beer garden for the summer months. Cosy open fire indoors for the winter. Nice place to while away a few hours over some nice pints of Guinness. Decent pub food.
