Always love coming here. Always good service and the food is always beautiful. I've tried alot of different items on the menu and love them all and it's always good when there's something new to try. Love getting a pint of Sam adams here too.
We went to lunch here on Saturday. Firstly, service was slow and we eventually had to ask the host if someone could come and take our orders. I ordered a Bellini at a cost of €10. I felt robbed. It was the smallest Bellini I have ever had. I was taking tiny sips to make it last. The mains were good although there could have been more sauce on the duck. The dessert was a massive let down. A raspberry mess. The meringue was rock hard, I didn't even know it was possible for meringue to be that hard. So it was like eating hard chalk with cream. Whilst the mains were good, as an overall experience I have had way better.
Manager was rude. I know we did not book in advance but he could have asked us to have a drink until a table was free, or tell us they had no tables. No problem we would understand. Instead he sat us in the corner of the bar next to the toilets. There was plenty of other tables free. Not very nice when you walk in with your wife and two children. We left after he rushed through handing the menus to us.
Great chicken wings..best I have ever tried. Service was a bit underwhelming felt like she ws kind of going through the motions. Had hand cut fries and sweet potato fries also which were very good. Would return.
Food is good and the service is fine, but it's nothing spectacular in my opinion. I feel like the portions are getting smaller every year & more expensive. The place is absolutely gorgeous though and the bar has a lot to offer which is a very big plus!
I would have given a 3.5 but more inclined to 3 than 4. Far better restaurants in Drogheda that are much less expensive.
Beautiful place, good staff and good food! A little on the expensive side perhaps but you are paying for ambience, service and fresh food so worth it!
It's always busy so book well in advance, especially for weekends!
Will certainly visit again, and again!
Very good restaurant in Drogheda. Good quality locally sourced food. Good atmosphere, wine and beer selection.
Great food, friendly staff, child friendly
I've been here so many times in the last 2 year's. This is my first review, i just felt compelled to complement the food and staff. Lovely atmosphere, happy staff and most of all consistently amazing food. We regularly travel 30miles out of our way simply because they have never disappointed. Worth every cent.
If i had to try to pick a negative, the menu is too many pages, too descriptive with a small font. Its a little difficult to read through. To anyone from the resteraunt reading this consider condensing the text with a better structure and format. May i also add, please don't remove any dishes to accomodate this change. Everything is so good. My complements to the chef and team.
Nice pub/restaurant! Interesting menu. Lots of Asian inspired flavours on pub classics
