Nice cinema but when I went in to watch the new Blade Runner ,it wasn't cleaned from the previous movie ,loads of food and wrappers everywhere on the floor and seats.

Does what it says on the tin. If you are hoping for sparkling toilets and amazing food hall, you will be disappointed. Popcorn and coke is expensive which is par for the course for all cinemas. All in all meh

Myself and my wife went to see Dunkirk and the facility's really let the movie down, the theatre was nearly full for the screening and because they have no air conditioning or maybe the do and its broken the heat in the theatre was very uncomfortable and if that wasn't bad enough there was a big dirty mark in the middle of the screen which ruined the movie because once you noticed it's it was pretty much all you could see!! Especially with a movie that has lots of air battle scenes!!
Exactly a week later we decided to go again this time to see new planet of the apes movie and thought with the ocean being a big company that the problems would have been sorted out ASAP only to find that this was not the case. Same thing again the theatre was pretty much full with no air conditioning and an extra few dirty marks added to the screen so enough was enough and I made a complaint via the Odeon's twitter account.
Next day the manager from the Odeon in Cavan town rang me and apologised and offered me some free tickets and even a free combo meal for our bad recent experiences at the Odeon and assured me that the problems would be fixed ASAP, Anyway the manager took down my address and said she would post to me but 2 weeks passed and I contacted the Odeon through twitter again and it was like nothing ever happened!! I had to explain the whole thing again and was told again they would contact the manager, more time passed and still nothing so I contacted Odeon again through twitter and I had to explain the whole thing again and at this stage I felt The Odeon was just mocking me so had to leave it at that.
I've still heard nothing back from The Odeon so will unfortunately have to travel and use a different company going forward, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone especially when it's already do expensive for very poor quality.response / report this review -

Parking outside the Ocean is free after 6pm so remember don't pay the meter! And on a Wednesday the special price of €6.50 for a film is a great deal !

This is the only cinema in town. It does be quite busy on a wednesday night and quite the rest of the week. I would prefer a Thursday or Friday. But its each to their own. The staff are really friendly and accomodating. The atmosphere while watching the film is quite good would recommend this place if you are visiting or have not been before. Always Good movies on
