  Nice place but for the price very little for kids. Food was just ok and expensive for the family. Overall too expensive for a family with small kids.

  Marvelous day out for the family. Kids love the train and the playground but also really enjoy exploring the grounds and finding hidden nooks and sculptures. Loads of great places to stop for picnics, our favourites are the Orb & Tree Circle in the lower garden and the summer house in the upper garden. Beautiful and big enough to still find peaceful corners even when it's busy.

  Visited today, on a very busy bank holiday, don't think they were prepared for the crowd that came. The cafe ran out of food and things in general seemed a bit crazy and unorganised. The grounds are beautiful and we will definitely return, but maybe not on a bank holiday.

  Even though it was raining we had a blast at Oakfield park. Took my grandfather and will always have great memories. You should have a go on the tree swing!

  Fantastic place for family day out. Beautiful walks with some stunning views. The trains are amazing a must for everyone. There is an amazing tea room being built although you can still get a great cup of tea in the Tea Tent. Highly recommend this place.
