I have been with my wife celebrating our anniversary and the staffs from North Star Hotel had the datail to give us an upgrade. The hotel location is perfect you are close to almost everything. The rooms and services are amazing. Best choice to stay in Dublin City Center.

OVERPRICED!!!!! paid £215 per night and would have preferred a travel lodge. Quality of workman ship in rooms was shocking , screws hanging out of door frame , main door of the room had a been cut so short I could put my hand under it into the corridor which meant the room was cold and we could here every noise. Tiles in bathroom looked like and episode of cowboy builders with some cracked. Shower was about as powerful and an electric toothbrush. Neither myself or my 6 month pregnant wife managed to sleep both nights as there was constant banging throughout the corridors and we had some sort of machinery outside our window which made a constant droning noise and to top it off our room backed onto a train track. This was supposed to be a special weekend away before the baby is born and £437 is a lot of money for us and we both felt it was wasted. to sum it up lobby looks fantastic hotel is not up to scratch for a 4 star hotel ads they have advertised!!

Decent location near the financial district. Hotel is split between "the address" and "north star" with the address being newly renovated rooms. Very nice and modern. Haven't seen one of the north star rooms but assume they are not quite as up to spec. Had an issue with club access, spoken to the general manager and he rectified the issue for us. Overall a nice hotel which we would probably visit again if in Dublin.

The building and entrance of the building was gorgeous..until you get to the bedrooms. It was like walking in to a bedroom from the 80s. Dark, dingy, smelly and extremely noisy. My room was so noisy I couldn't even open a window to get fresh air into the room. I ordered room service and the food was terrible. It's clear to see that they are slowly updating the hotel, but surely with the dated bedrooms, you should rent them out at a lower rate. They were no way near a 4 star rating and what you see on the hotel is not that. Very misleading.

So disappointed and extremely tired from the lack of sleep I got from the loud music I could hear from the ground floor and lumpy mattress.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It is a beautiful building inside, but the room was odd. The shower head was broken and it pointed toward the wall slightly so showering was a little awkward. Also the shower door had a tendency to open by itself so water would get on the floor. To stop this we had to tie a towel around the tub bar to keep the door shut. Everything else in the hotel was fine. There was TV to watch and the bed was comfy for us. The AC and heater worked well and the room service accommodated us well.

Didn't have a great stay here. The location is decent (near financial area, 15 min walk to the main sites) and the reception area is very stylish, however this is where the positives end.

The hotel seems to have two different parts, a nice modern one you see in the photos, and a slightly dated and grubby old part where I was staying. My main issue with the hotel was noise. The rooms are not soundproof in the slightest and I was awoken to the sound of next door singing Kylie at 8am on a Sunday morning (she was an awful singer). Also the room has no AC/ventilation so I was forced to have the window open onto a busy main road.

All in all I would try and stay clear of here if you like a good nights sleep and I certainly wouldn't agree with the hotels claims that it is either luxurious or boutique.

Good location. There were better, depending on where you want to be in Dublin, but this turned out to be much better than we expected. We booked late and many hotels were already full.

The staff was very helpful, cheerful and courteous. The location is very accessible to public transit, places to eat and a few sights. It's an easy walk to the river Liffey. The breakfast (included with our stay) was also very good each morning.

There are the usual amenities: Gym, laundry service, bar and restaurant.

Our room was a little on the older side of things. While it was clean and quite serviceable, it's probably time to do some updating. The AC was nice and cool and needed the first couple days of our stay.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Very nice interior, built around a railway bridge, but the station is close so the trains don't speed through and we hardly noticed them. Plenty of space and plug sockets in the room. Good food menu, plenty of options.

Good hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was good, well finished and very comfortable.

We did upgrade to a premier room which gave us access to the premier lounge. This was mainly useful to get tea, coffee and water. There were drinks facilities in the room but the premier lounge was nicer. It had a great view also.

The location was about a 10min walk from the city centre. Public transport links are all nearby also.

There is a restaurant on site but we didn't use it, there's too many good places to eat in Dublin anyway. The breakfast was good, the complimentary continental breakfast was limited but would be enough for most people to make it through to lunch. The full Irish breakfast was enjoyable but again, it's not hard to find fantastic places to get breakfast in town if you wanted

Not the cheapest nor the most flash, the North Star Hotel is a good option and I'd have no problem recommending it

Clean modern hotel conveniently located a few min walk from the IFSC and the center of town. Recently renovated and modern on the inside with exposed arm from train as feature in the lobby

Check in was made super easy and pleasant by the man at the desk. I was shown to my room by a friendly man, he explained all the details of the room as it had touch buttons for everything it was very nice clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Great location right next to the rail station and very warm and welcoming decor. Food was excellent in the restaurant and continental breakfast was included in the price of the room. Bed was extremely comfortable, great shower (although leaked onto the floor) and 'pod' coffee machine in the room.

Very comfy beds, with a cozy room. Soundproofing was fantastic and couldn't hear a thing outside the building from my room.
Bath and shower was great.
Two minor annoyances was a buzzing from the fuse box when the power was on in my room and the TV channels selection was rather poor.

Aside from that, highly recommend
