Great place for an hour to two hour walk. The forestry clearing work has opened up more of a view of the lake near the top of the hill

Great place for a quiet walk. Just to be able to walk off road safely. There are some testing inclines but brill.

This is a very beautiful area just out of Oughterard. It's perfect for walking and taking the wonderful and unique landscape of Connemara. There is a fantastic view of Lough Corrib from up there as well. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.
