Such a hidden gem, nice little coffee shop, wonderful staff and outstanding gardens unfortunately it closes at the end of September which is a shame as autumn would be amazing to experience in those magnificent gardens

    What a beautiful place!

The gardens are well kept and presented, with 4 clearly marked routes for you to walk (varying from a short 20 minutes walk to the longer hour and a half walk, depending on your preferences and fitness levels).

All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the selection of food and drinks at the tea shop were also really impressive.

    Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful historic gardens. Excellent walks with many points of interest dotted through the gardens and many interesting exotic trees and plants. Friendly welcome. Garden centre and tea shop. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic day out, particularly in the height of summer,
The amount of different species of flora is one of the finest open gardens in Europe.

Lovely garden and house. A bit pricey admission but amazing variation of gardens in one place

This is one of the best gardens in Ireland, some times of the year are better than others in terms of floral displays but it's always worth a look and if you're into trees then there's a Lot going on there as well with many foreign species growing.
A certain amount of plants are sold in the courtyard as well and the cafe has nice cakes and soup/sandwich options if you want to pass the time that way. One of the jewels in the crown of Waterford and Ireland.
Allow at least 2 hours to wander the walled gardens and beyond

Absolutely wonderful. This is a perfect place for getting away from it all and getting food for the soul. Right now the peonies are spectacular.

It's one of our favorite places to go for a day out with kids. Lots of paths for walks and great areas for picnics and resting. Spring and early summer are perfect time to visit the gardens and see them in full bloom. However with good weather, Congreve Gardens are welcoming in every season (as long as it's open).
Small cafe is a nice addition for tired walkers and kids would love ice cream and juice after long day spent in the nature.
