Anne Valley is a tranquil walk amongst nature. There are little treasures along the way to get involved with. The fairy door walk along a tree trail is lovely to see and recognise that these fairy doors are made by the boys and girls that visit Anne Valley. Come to the end of the trail and you come across Dunhill Castle in all its splendour. Keep walking and you can come into Annestown beach. The lakes in Anne Valley are home to Swans and Heron, along with the Fauna and wild birds. After that walk is behind you, stop off and have a coffee at the kiosk within the park. All in all a lovely experience.

Beautiful walk alongside the lake n streams. Kids friendly, lake with few swams n ducks swimming around. It's good that a stroller could go all the way too. Certaily made our day as family outing after lockdown!

Beautiful walk along the Anne River from Dunhill village to Dunhill castle ruins. Great scenery and fun for kids with fairy doors along the way

On several levels this is a great place to visit. Firstly it was developed as a reed bed alternative method to deal with sewage from Dunhill and local area. It has performed admirably in this regard.
Secondly it is a beautiful spot and a hidden gem in Waterford, it's a meandering path(1.5km each way) with native trees planted along the way (mountain ash, sycamore etc). The sound of the river accompanies you all the way to the end.
If you feel going a little bit further the ruins of Dunhill Castle await up a small hill(not wheelchair accessible) and the view from there down to the sea is magnanimous.
And it's free! There are donation points along the way if you're feeling generous

Quite nice walk to spend some time with family or friends. Views are not spectacular, but it's quite easy and pretty for a walk in the nature.
Some coffee / tea facility accompanied by a toilet would be nice addition though.

This is a tranquil and amazing walk.
There is a fantastic working Amphitheater with theatrical plays at different times of the year. Find the fairy doors along the walk, great for the kids. The river is teaming with trout and other species of fresh water fish. Guaranteed to see all kinds of wildlife along the way. As you walk along the path there is history like Dunhill Castle.
