Well. Why not come here for a cool drink? The place is full of character(s). We were visiting on a yacht trip so tied up to one of the new visitor moorings that are now very conveniently located in the river. Going ashore we were not greeted by Cap'n Ahab but by a quaint little town with many visitors on a warm(ish) day at the end of the summer. You can certainly see why Moby Dick was filmed here as the little harbour with what were then surrounding period buildings was a great set. Pop in, enjoy a little local history with dioramas and pictured everywhere remembering the filming of Moby Dick and the cast.

Fabulous friendly service with a smile and a chat. First name terms within 5 minutes. Great food, wonderful coffee and right on the waterfront with parking.
