Mizen Head is a stunningly beautiful location. Be sure to take the time to walk down the stairs to see the sea arch, cross over the bridge and visit the light station. Hold on to your hats though. The wind can be brutal.

Great example of the rugged Irish coast, the visitor center here had lots of information about the history of the area, and had many interesting exhibits. Well worth the trip.

Great site. Love visiting light houses. Be prepared for lot of walking down to lighthouse & across bridge. Some areas are accessed via stairs so plenty of exercise will be achieved. Displays in buildings very good & guide at house very informative

A beautiful spot with a number of paths to explore. There are interesting exhibitions in the visitor centre and the lighthouse. We had lunch in the cafe for a reasonable price, a very nice setting. Plenty of free parking

It is a great place to see the splendor and beauty where the ocean meets the peninsula. Spectacular views, great walkways and safe lookouts. Rather easy to get to by car. Well worth the walk out to the station. There is friendly staff and a small gift shop and cafe there also. A must-do when in southwest Ireland.

Great place to visit. €7.50 is a bit much to cross a bridge and see a signal station however..

Amazing views and splendid drive along the coast to get there. Museum was shoddy and needs a lick of paint to say the least, however the view from the walk to the top of the hill has the wow factor.

Definitely worth a visit. Was lucky enough to visit on a beautiful sunny day, the views were stunning. The centre/ museum area is interesting.

There's also a reasonably priced coffee shop, and a small playground area for young children.
