This place is terrific. Very comfortable room and accommodating staff. We had a great time in Westport and McCarthy's was a big part of that.

Excellent base for motorbikes. Geraldine looked after us completely. Huge secure garage for the bikes. Great accomodation. Great base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way.

Stayed at the lodge for a weekend with a group of friends. Geraldine was a great host - very welcoming and treated us like family. The lodge was lovely and clean. The breakfast was hearty. The pub was cosy and the beer was cold. Great location on the edge of town. Everything we wanted for the weekend!

Great place to stay , lovely bright and spotlessly clean.
Geraldine the hostess, has the wonderful ability of making you feel special and welcome.
The adjacent bar is traditional, old world style , fabulous. The three piece band belted out the best of music, in particular the banjo player.
Great place to stay in the centre of Westport , needless to say we will be back.

Fantastic place if your staying in Westport. Close to everything. The landlady is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Even said I could sleep off my hangover for a few hours if I wanted. This is B&B done properly.
