This is the best bed and brekkie in mullingar, nothing else comes close, class people that own it and more than helpfull, brekkie is fabulous and loads of everything, rooms very nice and just 2 mins from town. class experience.. well done mc cormacks

This is our 4th time with Tom and Margaret and they are perfect hosts. The bedrooms, bathrooms and the grounds a beautifully cared for. Breakfast is a feast served with a smile by our hosts. This is my third visit to Mullingar and each time I have stayed with Tom and Margaret at Mc Cormack's Guesthouse. I have been so well looked after. The breakfast is plentiful and well cooked. The rooms are well furnished and clean with ensuite. I will definitely recommend this guesthouse to singles, couples and families with children. I shall be booking in for my next visit.

Stayed here the night before last.
The owners (Margaret & Tom) were lovely. The room (No. 7) was impressive, particularly the ensuite. The place was full but even then parking was not a problem.
The room was very warm but it was easy to turn down the heating.
The breakfast was great, a wide selection of different things in the Irish breakfast: eggs, croquettes, beans, mushrooms, sausages, puddings, bacon, toast, brown bread and more. The only weak part of the breakfast were the sausages and puddings. But it needs to be put in perspective: I have stayed in many different B&Bs around Ireland and I have noticed that it is very rare that the sausages and puddings actually taste good in Irish B&Bs. Everything else at McCormack's was great though. If visiting Mullingar again, I would stay at McCormack's again.
