Went to a wedding here and every part of it well managed with professional teamwork staff. The recent renovations have been very tastefully done without upsetting or modernising what was here before. Traditions have been re-enforced here. Incredible night club in the basement with two expansive bars each end and soundproofed comfortable lounges where friends can break away from the loud dance room for conversation. Restaurant is still beautiful and food excellent and plentiful. Exceptional wedding and event venue.

Impossible to get inside the castle or the gardens, it's private. Anyway is pretty beautiful to see.

Beautiful, unbelievable experience to be able to stay here.
Was honored to officiate the wedding of my friends in the castle's beautiful chapel. Had two receptions following- light reception and then later a multi-course formal dinner in the spectacular dining room that looks over the garden. There was live music in the castle pub later in the evening. Stayed overnight in a comfortable, spacious room with modern bathroom. Loved every minute of our time here. Gardens are so nice to walk in. Staff is fabulous. Highly recommend!
Oh- and don't forget to look for the sheep in the fields and on the road when you come and go.

Went for a wedding here and stayed in the farmhouses. The castle is absolutely stunning and a lovely venue for the occasion we were there for. The farm houses were nice, but we had the heating on when it rained! All in all I would definitely recommend this place :)

Just reopened after a complete and extensive renovation. The castle is on a magnificent rambling estate near Collooney, Co. Sligo. The grounds are picturesque and feature beautifully groomed formal gardens to the rear of the castle. The Unshin river flows through the grounds where a flock of prize winning sheep and some swans call it home. A magnificent venue for a wedding or an event. Wish they had a tea room! One can only hope :)

Real castle hotel experience and lived up to the hype. Our room was beautiful and comfortable with a view of the lovely formal gardens, and had very high (almost two-story) ceilings. The castle was great to explore and felt like a real castle, complete with stained glass windows, lovely architectual details like wooden trace along the ceilings, and all kinds of fun passageways to explore. There's even a chapel! The staff were great and recommended a nice pub that had live music and helped us connect with the Hawk Walk (falconry lesson) that we arranged through them. Although this hotel is a bit pricey, it's definitely worthwhile for an authentic castle experience. Would definitely return again.
