Easy access with plenty of car park space. Meals are always of high standard and that is reason that I get my mid-meals anytime I am in the locality

So disappointed in our meal tonight. Poor vegetarian options. French Onion Soup greasy, cold and unappealing. Not impressed at all and not the Lord Bagnal of old. Requested two starters to be put on one plate as one vegetarian main course - manager said not possible, so food served on two separate plates - bit non nonsensical. Did the usual Irish thing of eating and not complaining but feel that this dining experience actually warrants a comment. Very bad value for money - one of the most expensive and most disappointing meals we have had in a long time. Most of the serving staff were fine, but all in all won't be going back in a hurry.

Always accommodating and friendly staff have no problem looking after your needs. The sheer feel will make your stay special. The bar has a wonderful quaint atmosphere and the foot is excellent.

Staff were extremely friendly, food was great. The hotel was warm and clean. Ideally located between Carlow town and Kilkenny City.

Stopped off for lunch. The food was pretty good and the staff were very nice. A massive hotel in a small town that feels a bit oversized. More of a wedding venue really. A bit vast and empty in between the special occassions.
