Beautiful, authentic experience, a must-do! I was lucky enough to have my wedding there- couldn t have asked for more, the venue, food, service and especially the warmth and generosity of the O'Callaghan family was unbeatable! For afternoon tea, a weekend break, family holiday or wedding- unmissable!
Drove from Dublin to find it was closed. Nowhere on their website does it say closed. Very disappointed.
Amazing venue for Weddings, thoroughly recommended
Beautiful place and good old Keith Floyd visited here many moons ago.
Nice country Inn, far away from everything. Tea time was excellent, the staff is attentive, and the homemade cider and apple brandy is fantastic! The first room we were in didn't have wifi as the extender didn't reach that far,and they moved us immediately. They even offered the bridal sweet for our troubles. Really great gesture and service.
Love this place, have been for lunch three times and can't wait to go back. Great walks around grounds and gardens.
Nice and relaxing stay, out in the country, a real throw back to the way life for the landed gentry might have lived. The house still retains much of its original charm whilst still handling the requirements of the guests.
The garden walks a nice, can be mucky in places but you can borrow wellies from the house.
Not the cheapest stay by any means but the seven course taster meal is very nice.
Well worth a visit. It's a beautiful charming place
