The hotel was modern and smart. My room was beautifully presented, probably the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely fresh linen.
The evening meal and the breakfast were excellent and the whole experience was delivered by happy, helpful staff.
I will definitely stop here again, hopefully before Christmas.response / report this review -

Rooms nice. Double bit small. Breakfast good but tea and coffee come in nasty stainless steel and mugs bit crude. Poor selection of breads but nice fruit. Rashers undercooked. Bar food very average. Service in bar not good. Very slow. Guys said beer was but off especially upstairs in venue bar. Massage in spa was total useless, waste if 55 euro for 30 mins. Wouldn't recommend spa massage treatment. Hard sell on facial products too. Staff at reception nice and helpful although night manager needs to be more client oriented.

the best hotel in cork for the price range hands down! great facilities, especially the gym and pool! really good hotel restaurant that can rival many great restaurants in cork and superb customer service like most places in Cork! But Cork has always been my favorite for good food and friendly services anyways.. but this hotel is a real gem!

We had a great stay in the Clayton. We were warmly welcomed by Siobhan couldn't have been nicer, our room 422 was in immaculate condition thanks to Kristina. The staff in the globe were very efficient and friendly, the food was good. The breakfast was first class and very fresh, we would highly recommend the Clayton hotel cork.

Good hotel in a great location for Cork centre. Parking is €12 per night in underground car park, rooms are a nice size, comfortable and clean. In room safe is useful.
All staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast set in a nice area and has a good choice of food.

I loved the service I received during my stay at the Clayton Hotel Cork City!! They were always attentive to my needs and ensured I had everything I needed during my stay there. The breakfast was amazing every morning! The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the view from the balcony rooms over the river made the entire stay there absolutely perfect! I can't wait to return and stay again at the Clayton Hotel Cork City.

The rooms are well designed and a good size. The bar has a great ambience with a good selection of beers along with tasty well cooked presented food.
Breakfast is everything I could have wished for. Even though I went for the healthy option I was very tempted by the full Irish.
I have to say the best of all the features of the hotel, the thing that makes it stand apart from many others is the staff. Friendly professional and nothing is too much trouble. A great asset .response / report this review -

I got a weekend break for my parents. Mallorie from reservations was so helpful, friendly and really patient with all my questions. From the moment my parents arrived they were met with the friendliness and most helpful staff, their room (with a balcony) was clean, comfortable and perfect. Dinner and breakfast were tasty, huge variety and everything better than the next. Lastly the location was perfect. They have no complaints and loved it so much intend on returning and after I have heard the fantastic reviews plan on visiting soon with my partner. Thank you Mallorie and all the staff at the Clayton you really made my parents trip. Regards Shelly

This hotel was really great all round , the room was really lovely , the car park great value and the breakfast was so tasty and fresh. Any of the staff I came in contact with were very friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay in again if I return to cork.

The entire stay was a pleasant experience. The check-in was quick and the desk clerk was very attentive. Later when I went to the front desk for assistance in printing boarding passes the desk clerk, another person, was equally as helpful and attentive. I dined in the restaurant/lounge using a dinner voucher. The waiter was friendly and pleasant. The 3 course meal was very well-prepared and timely and the wait staff was efficient. Checkout went smoothly and the desk clerk even introduced me to my cab driver. I had no complaints whatsoever.
