Located within walking distance of the city centre and the main bus routes. Stayed in a road facing twin room. Noise from the road was minimal. Beds were very small and probably more to do with the room, not a great deal of space. Shower and bathroom a little tired looking but served its purpose. Free WiFi access on site. €180 for the night, might be related to the Marathon, but certainly not value for money in my opinion.
Our parents' room was nice but ours was tiny and had a moldy bathroom. I can't recommend this inn until they complete a renovation.
Friendly and efficient check in, good location walking distance to Dublin center. Room was basic but comfortable, bathroom was clean and modern. Only negative comment is regarding the in room tea and coffee setup. Overall value for money
The hotel and our room were very clean and the staff at reception were very helpful with info on how to get to the popular attractions. However, there was a language barrier between ourselves and some of the breakfast staff which made ordering the breakfasts we wanted rather difficult. We saw in other reviews that the hotel is situated near a noisy club. While the noise was audible, this did not greatly affect our sleep. It was easy to access the main areas in the city via a popular bus route (must have the exact change for the bus), with the stop being a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. There was a Tesco nearby as well as a few newsagents which was handy.
The hotel is located next to a very noisy night club. If you are deaf, the place is fine, otherwise not. May be better if you had a room facing the other side.
And the madrasses need to be replaced.
The place is well located within a reasonable walking distance from the main attractions in Dublin. The room was very small, so much so that the bathroom door couldn't be totally opened because it touched the bed. The bathroom was apparently clean although quite old, but when you went into the shower there was mould behind the shower door.
Great spot. Close to town. No problems at all. Didn't have the breakfast, didn't wake up in time.
Only a few hundred metres from Stephens green,
The mattress was a bit lumpy, but for the price we paid. it was ok
TOTAL RIP OFF. Paid 200€ for a twin room and it didnt even include bodywash in the shower, reception just told us to use the handwash. Then the hot water didnt work and ran out in minutes. Place was a dive. Don't even waste your time unless you're desperate to stay off the street overnight.
Room was clean and relatively spacious. There was limited lighting in the room, even with all the lights on the room still seemed dim. The bathroom was basic but clean. The location is very good. My room was facing the back so very quiet. Check in and out were very quick and efficient. Rate was reasonable too.
Window faces busy street, and is missing a pane of glass, so sleeping is impossible as the room is loud as if I was sleeping on the street. I would strongly recommend you go somewhere else.
Room was adequate but a bit of a tight squeeze since the bed took up most of the floor space. Shower could do with a bit of repair work, not because it was old but because it was remodeled by an unqualified amateur with subpar skills. I hope they didn't pay for such shoddy work. Location quite for the most part. The staff in the lobby were helpful.
