Margot and Donnie are fabulous at making conversation, explaining the in's and out's of town and breakfast was delicious. The downfall is that their website brags about sea and harbor views but we were not granted even a slight view of the sea. Our room overlooked the front garden, which was nice, but certainly not the sea. Our bedroom was the largest room we've had so far during this trip.
Not only was were the house and garden immaculate and beautiful, the hosts, Margo and Donie, were absolutely wonderful people. They were incredibly welcoming, engaging, and helpful. The location was perfect - walkable to the city center (and Charles Fort if you're looking for a longer walk), but just far enough from the city center to be in a peaceful neighborhood. And the window view from our upstairs room was incredible. I would 100% recommend Landfall house to anyone looking for a B&B in Kinsale!! Thank you Margo and Donie for helping to make our trip so special!
The hospitality of Landfall House B&B is pure and simply 100% 'Made in Ireland!' Very happily family run with a beautiful setting. The rooms are tastefully decorated which adds to the delightful ambience. Thanks to Donie and Margo for making breakfast a fun affair with an abundance of local information, and a song. Oh, and a very hearty Irish Breakfast. Thank you, I really enjoyed my stay. JMG (France)
Excellent experience. A beautiful home away from home with a wonderful and delicious breakfast well presented. Thumbs up to Margo and Donie.
We enjoyed 3 nights at the Landfall House in Kinsale. Owners Tony and Margo are a delightful couple. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The location is wonderfully close in proximity to downtown Kinsale that one could walk or, drive to a nearby parking area if shopping is your objective. Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wifi works well...not always the case with many B&B's throughout SW Ireland. 4.75 stars!!!
