Wedding VenueLook no further! Had our wedding at Kippure early September 2017, and it truly was the greatest wedding we could have dreamed of! Made possible by the excellent staff who really went above and beyond to make the day perfect. Cary and Jenny really are the dream team!! nothing is too much trouble, nothing sounds silly and everything is executed in a professional friendly manner. From our first meeting with Cary to the day we left after our wedding, everything almost went too smooth! there was no hassle, no drama, everything was just taken care of with minimal fuss. The whole team at Kippure are second to none, Martin ,Christy , Tom and Cormac couldn't meet nicer guys, all did just small things that didn't go un noticed that set them apart, as an exampleone of the guys walked one of the ladies who couldn't find her house down in the lashings of rain holding an umbrella for her, making sure she got home safe, all just sound ordinary people who do their job in the most professional friendly manner.
As a wedding venue, I highly recommend Kippure as your first choice, you just cant go wrong!! Venue is not 5 star but it can be your 5 star.. you can make the wedding of your dreams a reality here with a bit of imagination and the help of the most amazing staff on hand to guide you along from start to finish. Thank you all at Kippure (especially Cary and Jenny!) for the greatest day we could have wished for.

If you are looking for something out of the ordinary for your wedding and like the outdoors then Kippure is the perfect venue. We had the most amazing day organised by Jenny and Cary in Kippure.

From start to finish everything was just perfect. The grounds of Kippure are so beautiful, the marquee is amazing, the FOOD! yum yum!, the forests are fab. the list goes on! The accommodation is just spot on for a wedding. Instead of being stuck in a hotel room you can stay in lodges which have a number of bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen, great to relax and catch on with family before & after the wedding.

We could not have picked anywhere more perfect for us.

This place seems to be in a constant state of construction. The houses we stayed In look like they were shoddily built back in the boom. Some are still incomplete. Besides this the food was great and my brother had a great time here for his post wedding party.

We had a great experience with Kippure Estate all around for our July 2017 wedding.

The venue and grounds are scenic and beautiful. The ceremony setting itself was intimate and memorable, on a clear day the views and scenery are stunning.

The first person we were in contact with, Cary met with us and showed us around the venue on our viewing day. He was accommodating and helpful and made sure every detail we mentioned on the day was noted and taken care of. His attention to details, even things we had mentioned in passing was excellent.

We were planning everything from overseas, so after the first day all communication was through email. It says a lot that we never once had to pick up the phone to figure anything out, everything was taken care of from details in our email.

Our coordinator Jenny and her team handled everything for us on the day. We met with her the day before to go over all our small details and everything was taken care of for us. We felt in great hands throughout the day and everything went perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better team around us, everything flowed well and nothing was either rushed or dragged on. Jenny was available any time we had questions.

Both the breakfasts and the food on the day were wonderful. Couldn't have asked for better and they had the foods down to the number we provided ahead of time, even children and gluten free meals were taken care of. All guests loved the food.

The accommodation on the grounds was basic, but homely and comfortable, perfect for what you needed on the days before, during and after. The honeymoon suite is standard with some extra decoration done by the Kippure team.

The staff as a whole were easy going and very friendly throughout our weekend there. They made it our home for the weekend.

We cannot thank the staff enough for providing such a beautifully, unique experience for our outdoor wedding June 2017. Our friends and family are still talking about it and said it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding. Cary the wedding planner was fantastic help and good fun over the past 18 months. Jenny the coordinator went above and beyond ensuring everything went perfect on the day. We enjoyed every minute. I cannot imagine you would get anything close from a hotel, but this is certainly a venue for couples who want something different, memorable and in nature.

We got married here on 14 Apr 2017, and what can I say??!! Everything was absolutely perfect! Tucked away in the Wicklow mountains, the surroundings are gorgeous!! We really wanted an outdoor wedding, but alas the weather did not behave so we had to bring it indoors. However, the morning of Jenny (Kippure-Estate decorator extraordinaire) completely transformed the small marque into an indoor-outdoor ceremony room and it looked fantastic! Jenny put so many little details into the decor, thank you so much!!! Cary, the on site wedding planner was a delight to deal with, and really understood what we wanted for our day. Thank you for making the day truly ours!! The food?? Wow!! I think it speaks volumes that the majority of people went up for seconds!! The onsite accommodation was also perfect for us, with lots of kids in both our families, it meant everyone could stay over and enjoy the celebrations! We also made a weekend of it, and put on activities the next day for our guests. Archery, climbing wall, team games and that leap of faith!!! Everyone was just beaming the whole day! (Although there's no way I was doing that leap!) The BBQ the next day again did not disappoint, followed by a cosy evening in the bar with pints and board games! Well done Kippure Estate, and thank you for such happy memories!!! 😊😊

If you are looking for a memorable, magical, unique location to get married- this is the spot! We had a destination wedding here all the way from Chicago. While planning a wedding virtually can be a bit intimidating, the team at Kippure Estate truly can gather who you are and what you want all through email. Everyone we dealt with before, during and after our wedding were not only professional but also personable. The food here is also out of this world! The atmosphere and team here are truly magical. The team at Kippure Estate will conform to your wants and needs and make your special day perfect! As some of our guests said "we win." We won at having the best wedding ever. You can, too!

Wow. . . let me just start with how this review will end. . Kippure estate and the staff are absolutely wonderful!! Having moved from Ireland to Toronto with my (now) husband, we had been back one Christmas and booked our date with Kippure. From the get go we knew we had made the right decision. We had wanted a festival vibe/ very casual day and Cary was able to ask all the write questions and nail down every detail even with the Atlantic Ocean between us. The unfortunate incident of the fire had happened just 8 weeks prior to our date but to be honest the staff took everything in their stride and did not let it stop them! The new location and marquee was better than we could have imagined. . and the view. . STUNNING!!

We had quite a few decorations to be hung and strange requests but Jenny listed everything off and told me not to worry!

The day before the ceremony, the Irish weather was misbehaving, but we were determined to have an outdoor wedding! The original ceremony location was very exposed and guests would be drenched if a down pour happened so the wonderful Jenny got her thinking cap on and took us to a beautiful area in the woods…..albeit this was Plan B, it felt like it should be Plan A! When the day came the weather was wet & grey and nobody knew which way it would go!! In the end we got our outdoor wedding. . . in the woodland - it was beautiful, I am glad it rained!! From the reception to the dinner, everything was according to how we wanted it. The decorations were hung perfectly, the food was amazing and the staff went out of there way to make our guests feel welcome!

I really want to give a huge shout out to Jenny who really was the sweetest - She made sure that our day was perfect! Sue in the kitchen and all the bar staff could not have been more accommodating! My guests are still raving about the ceremony, the food and the location - some even going so far as to say the best wedding they have ever been to!! Thank you so much Kippure - we will never forget our amazing day with you!!

Myself and my now wife were married in Kippure on August 27th. It was an amazing day, made even more amazing by the facilities and staff at Kippure. We asked could the gazebo be decorated in a certain way from an old picture we'd seen, and our request was carried out down to the final detail. The accommodation was perfect, lots of room for all our guests. The food was delicious and Jenny was on hand to assist us all day. All the guests said it was one of the best and most unique weddings they'd ever been to. I couldn't recommend Kippure highly enough, a beautiful setting for a beautiful and memorable day.

I attended a wedding at Kippure Estate on July 16th, and have to say how impressed I was with everything! The scenery, the service, the foodeverything was amazing! They seem to have had a fairly serious fire not too long ago, but that didn't make one dent in the day. The staff bent over backwards to make sure everyone was very well looked-after. I asked who was in charge of weddings -- Jenny and Carey are the names I was given. Jenny I never got a chance to thank (Thanks, Jenny!) but I had a nice chat with Carey, who was extremely helpful and charming. (Later I saw Carey spend about 15 minutes escorting one of the older guests back to her house, holding her umbrella and chatting to her the whole time!) I also had a great chat with Chris (the bar man) and several other members of staff (I wish I knew all of their names!) I was a "plus one" at the wedding, so didn't know too many of the other guests, but the Kippure staff made me feel like family!
