Really really really expensive. Got quoted over 400 Euro to Service a c70 Went to independent dealer and got service done for half of that. Also other volvo dealers have different prices as I phoned a few of them but Kenny in galway was most expensive

    In Short AVOID the place
I would advise that you ring before going to look at a car here, their ads done dealDeal and their web site do not match their stock. Now it may take you a few tries to get through to them as the phone seems to ring out a lot. Rang about a car and emailed them for the specs on a car I am still waiting a 4 days later to hear back from them via email. Their car info online is wrong went back a 2nd time to look at a car after ringing them to see was it still there, to find out it is down as a manual when in fact its automatic. I was very annoyed with this and sujested that maybe they should change it on their ads and website. Its still online as a manual.

Very busy and was left waiting abit to long to get talking to staff so I think they sud hire afew more people and tats a gud thing cause they are very busy.the staff are very friendly and helpful, when we bought our jeep from them.we had called into a lot of other places and found them to be very rude and almost felt like they cudnt be bothered if they sold anything to anyone.so to my experience I honestly feel that kennys are the best in galway.keep up ta gud work guys.

I left my car with Kenny Galway for 8 days for critical repairs thinking that by using an authorized Volvo dealer my car would be returned to me in complete working order. This was not the case. I collected the car and took it home and later that evening I tried to start the car but to no avail, because it was Friday evening the garage was closed I couldn't contact them to inform them that the car wouldn't start.

On Monday morning I contacted Kenny Galway about this problem and they then informed me that they had to jump start the car when I arrived to collect it the previous Friday. They informed me that it was no longer their problem and advised me that I would have to utilize my insurance company to help me. I had to use my insurance company to organize breakdown assistance twice to start the car over two days following their time working on the vehicle.

I communicated this with Kenny Galway about my issues after their repairs and they refused to admit that they had anything to do with the battery becoming flat and unusable. I've now been left with another bill to pay I.e a new battery, which I didn't have an issue with prior to leaving it with Kenny Galway.

I wouldn't recommend this Kenny Galway to anyone and the manner in which this issue was handled was completely unpleasant and extremely disappointing. They didn't offer me any option to resolve this issue which is very unprofessional. If you're looking for peace of mind don't use Kenny Galway, I certainly won't use their services ever again.

Kenny has a large selection, convenient location, and an easy attitude with keys so you can look around. However, once you get serious about a purchase the experience goes downhill. We paid €300 for a thorough AA test and despite a detailed breakdown of items to fix they were slow to address them and did so incorrectly. After the sale we realised there were further issues but the salesman would no longer answer our calls. Their service department is very slow and may take weeks to get an appointment. The car was under an active recall and they did not fix it nor warn us. The car failed NCT due to a missing battery clamp and the service department was so slow it cost us both the test and retest fees due to their incompetence and inaction.

My friend and I hired a car from Hertz/Thrifty/Dollar in Dublin.. a Peugeot.. through our travels, a light came on telling us we needed to increase the urea . not having a diesel before we had to search google to discover the engine would seize if this wasn't done after some searching we located Kenny's, being a Peugeot dealership.. whist the gentleman who spoke to us was pleasant, he suggested the hire car company needed to send another a car to us as they were fully booked and could not help us.. we in turn contacted Dublin Hertz who advised us we would have to pay for a new car to be sent.. Now whilst we understand the hire company was in no ways helpful or supportive to us.. what shocked us.. having to drive to Sligo (totally out of our way) to get the Urea fixed, was that it just needed 'topping up with a liquid" ..surely your staff could have informed us of that.. ???? surely your staff could have suggested a local garage? Horrified, disappointed and feeling seriously let down by Peugeot.! A whole day of our holiday ruined!

Went here on a recommendation, would never consider it again!!
Extremely expensive for car service and long waiting time. Had trouble with car on leaving there and went to another garage to get sorted where customers are valued. Overall a costly day!!
