5 stars for the pub accommodating us and our cranky kids while we warmed up and dried out by the fire place.

Nice accommodation in nice setting close to Ballyvaughan village, not cleaned properly and missing a kettle on arrival explains 3 star rating,

Nice quiet hotel and a good base to sally forth into the Burrens. Good value and a few nice places to eat in the local area.

Went to show Cliffs of Moher toy guests and we got this hotel for stay. All others were booked and I was skeptical because of the small town and all that. But I am so glad we found this hotel!!! So much so, we are planning another trip there soon.
We stayed there for one night and the stay was fantastic! Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good too. Staff was very friendly.
They have good parking space too nearby.

Nice comfortable place but most staff members were unfriendly and some were rude. Took a very time to get severed . I enjoyed my room and the food was good but the staff let the place down.

Staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and generally very pleasant. The building is a little stuffy, though, and the shower head sprayed water in all kinds of directions. Overall, very good but not great.

Terrible, this time. I stayed here in 2009 and was excited to come back. Booked 10 months in advance and noted that it was for my honeymoon. Got here and a bicycle race was in town, which I understand wasn't their fault, but we had to fight for dinner at the hotel restaurant, against people off the street. Servers told us to wait in the bar and they would come and get us when a table was available. After 45 minutes of waiting, we heard a server tell someone that they could have an open table if they could seat themselves before she filled it. Took 3 hours to have dinner. Night is already bad. Then, at 11 pm, the bar below our room starts playing music, vibrating our walls. Tried calling reception to see how long we should expect the noise, no one answers. Went down there there and no one was around, and we weren't able to find anyone. Music lasted until around 1 am. Breakfast was good.

This opinion is purely about the hotel's bar as we were not staying in the hotel. Classic Irish meals but prepared and served with highest attention to details. Meals were very generous and simply delicious. Chowder, Irish beaf and lamb accompanied with freshly prepared veggies and perfectly baked potato chips - all good as never before. Plus very friendly staff. Definitely one of the best dinning experiences during last couple of years. I will visit again. Highly recommended place.
