I have to say this hotel is just simply everything we were looking for. From the fantastic staff to the amazing food and just wonderful atmosphere at the bar and throughout the hotel and also the beautiful surroundings, i can only say just simply wonderful. We did not want to leave and this is coming from a person who works in this industry every day. Keep up the amazing effort and work you all do everyday and we will definitely be returning. Thank you all for an amazing time

Stayed for one night as part of a hen party. Very scenic location! The food is super. We had a beautiful 3 course meal! I had Black pudding salad, Thai vegetarian curry and sticky toffee pudding all very tasty and reasonable. Rooms very hot, turn off radiators when you go into room. Breakfast was very good too. Hotel is like a maize. A few things could be improved. But all in all it was a super stay

This hotel had very large well appointed rooms. My room was probably updated recently. Finding the parking lot is kind of tricky, you have to drive out back. The breakfast in the morning was your typical tourist buffet in the large dining room. The best part is the view of the falls out the front door of the hotel. Don't know if they have rooms in the old building that is the facade of the hotel but if you could get a room overlooking the falls it would be great. Stayed in October which must be off season because there were only two patrons in the bar which seats 100+ customers. Would stay here again.

We are fairly regular visitors to the Falls Hotel, not as residents, but as diners in general.
The views are stunning, and the general ambiance is quite good.
The food is quite good also, but varies from visit to visit, and we've had one quite bad lunch there in our many visits.
One point I'd like to highlight though, and that has to do with the change we got after paying for our meals, on one occasion earlier this year we were short changed by a Euro (it's not gonna break the bank to be honest) but again only yesterday we had the same experience, another Euro short in our change.
now once can be a mistake, but twice is more than a coincidence.
If I'm going to leave a tip (and I always do) I'd much prefer to leave it on a voluntary basis rather than having it taken by stealth.
Other than that I found the Falls Hotel to be a most beautiful place indeed.
I can't vouch for the rooms, as we have never stayed there as guests.
The donkeys are a great added feature, and are very popular with adults and children alike.

Comfy bed, delicious breakfast buffet, gorgeous indoor swimming pool, courteous, attentive staff. Outstanding stay here and I'd return again in a heartbeat!

A borderline two star.
Our stay was quite disappointing. The staff was friendly and the view is fantastic, but what was once a grand hotel has come and gone. The rooms were large but filthy, the mattresses and decor well due to be changed decades ago, and the food overall was terrible. It may be a good option for large groups visiting the cliffs if one forgoes the food.response / report this review -

What is all the hype about?
Great location, nice rooms and a warm feel yes, but after that it is quite disappointing.
The spa was okay, but the steam-room was not working and the sauna is fake, i.e. there was no chimney!!
The dinner that was included int the package was stuck int the 90s. Everything was over cooked and bland. The red wine was drinkable but too warm.

We have stayed in The falls several times and find it the perfect place to get away from it all and chill out.
An amazing location,wonderful,friendly staff,food top class and really comfortable beds.

Room was very outdated. Went to restaurant in hotel and was very very disappointed!! €92 for 2 steaks, 2 desserts and 2 soft drinks. Staff were okay. Also supplement charge on nearly everything in hotel. Would not come back or recommend hotel.

Great location - only a few mins walk from the main street. We went surfing in Lahinch which is only a 5min taxi trip away and got to the Cliffs of Moher by Bus Eireann where we walked to Doolin. Here you can go for Ferrie trips to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher for around E15pp. There are lovely views from the falls bar overlooking the stream and waterfall that run alongside it. The food is nice in the restaurant and the bar has a great selection of gins too. The service was friendly and the staff are very helpful too
