Superb place to visit, everything for all ages, abilities and interests. Fantastically put together. Leave lots of time for you visitperhaps all day
Great museum. Lots to see and learn including old agricultural machinery and how it was used and developed and the history of the potato famine. Really interesting. Recommended.
We were blessed with a beautiful day so enjoyed walking in the grounds visiting the museum and exhibition , shop and cafe. Best scones I've had in Wexford county . Be lovely when the castle us open for viewing too.
Gardens are gorgeous and very few people were there. Peacock food is available at the tea room. Well worth the €1. You will want to spend most, if not all day there. A must see in Wexford.
While the castle wasn't open, it is quite a sight to behold and the gardens themselves are simply stunning. This is the kind of place you go to and forget about all of the bad stuff going on, as you get lost in its beauty. Only cost 2 euros to get in so is extremely cheap.
Beautiful gardens and lake around the castle.its breathtaking.. lovely place to sit and relax or have a nice walk.
Fantastic place to visit, situated on the grounds of Johnstown Castle. Features a remarkable collection of restored farming equipment from bygone years as we well as workshops and exhibitions. There's a Coffee Shop and of course, not forgetting to mention the freeroaming peacock and peahen flock who you are liable to meet anywhere, although generally not too far from the museum itself. Well worth a visit for a look and a cuppa. What I like about the place is that no matter how often you visit it, there's always something to see and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Stunning grounds, the gardens are so well kept. You could spend hours just walking around them. I've only given 3 stars because I think it should have playground for kids and the castle should be open to the public. I know the castle has had a massive grant but there is no sign of anything happening with it yet, I'll change my star rating when I get to see the changes.
Amazing grounds to go for a walk and just enjoy some fine weather. Has a great coffee shop too with loads of choice.
The most beautiful park in Ireland. Love it.
Beautiful place. Make sure you go to the tearoom for great services and massive and very tasty cakes and pies.
Thoroughly enjoyed the museum. Kids had a great time doing the quiz. Planning to bring more of the family back. Very tastefully done and a fantastic walkthough of the last few generations in Ireland.
