I was really torn about how many stars to give but the issue we had was so disappointing and should never have been an issue in the first place. We had long hairs on our bathroom/shower wall none of us have long dark hair so def not from us and we hadn't used the shower yet...it was really horrible (like finding a long hair in your food at a restaurant), and I don't mean one hair, it was a bunch of hairs. We had adjoining rooms with my mother in law and her shower wall also had dark hairs stuck to it. We also had an old flannel/face cloth hanging over our shower curtain rail and the thought of that falling on me during a shower was horrible...i couldn't bring myself to move it because I didn't know where it had been (the flannel was still there when we checked out 2 days later). The ladies at reception were very apologetic and gave us a complimentary breakfast and taxi back to the airport. So disappointed...to spend that amount of money you do expect a clean bathroom. I'm afraid I will think twice before booking there again (even though it was a good location for what we needed to do in Dublin).

First, the location of the hotel is excellent for tourists who like to use their feet and/or public transport for getting around Dublin. Connolly Station is near and provides easy access to Dublin via trains, trams and buses for the places that you decide not to walk to.
Professional staff work in all areas of this hotel and provided great service. The people maintaining our room did an excellent job each day. One staff member of note, Patricia, who works in the breakfast area, was extra friendly and helpful in answering the questions we had about Dublin. We appreciated her recommendations for us!
Speaking of breakfast, selections were abundant, well monitored and included good coffee, an assortment of breads, various juices, meats, fruits, porridge, made to order eggs and more.
Our room was 322, in the middle of the front. The view was great. I used the Hilton app at check-in and decided to choose my own room because I wanted a view of the River Liffey. I believe that if I'd chosen a different room, (or allowed them to choose for me) we would have had more space. Our room, with two double beds, had space for only one (desk) chair. The lack of space didn't prove too difficult because we spent very little time in the room during the day. When we were there though, we were treated to some of the largest, fluffy white towels I've ever seen at a hotel and comfortable bed linens over firm mattresses in excellent condition.
Probably the only issue we had with anything was the laundry room. It was not inexpensive and didn't seem to clean or dry our clothes very well.
A small issue compared with all the good.
I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Warm, welcoming staff. Well-appointed rooms and public areas. Excellent location - right next to the Irish Family History Centre and EPIC, the Irish Emigration Museum. Room safes. Restaurant. Laundry service. Fitness center. What you expect from Hilton. Staff willing to go above and beyond at all times. Current remodeling was not an issue at all. Lovely views of the River Liffey.

No doubt this is a high-standards hotel. The room is tidied up with great attention to detail and amenities are replaced daily.
In the room you will find a 32" TV, a common market hair dryer (and not one of those that are attached to walls), an iron, a nice alarm clock, and complimentary tea and coffee with a kettle.
In case you are guessing, faucet water in Dublin is good to drink.
If you can try to choose a room facing to the river.
Location is quite convenient, just 15 min away from the city center by walking and next to the financial area.
Of course, it's a Hilton, so don't expect low prices.

The room was exceptionally clean. The staff went above and beyond with professionalism and courtesy. The food was good. The location was close to tourist attractions and local favorites. And the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. They are under renovations right now, however this did not affect my stay at all.

We did not stay at the hotel, only ate dinner at the restaurant one night. The restaurant is right by the river, has comfortable seating, and a dining area separate from the bar. The food is good, but a bit expensive, and as a warning, they do not have to-go boxes for extra food. I had linguine, and what I had left after dinner went in tinfoil in a paper bag. Overall, a good dinner. WiFi is also good. I recommend this restaurant.

Despite a little noise from the construction, we knew about this at time of booking, we had a great stay. Location is pretty good for walking to many things and with the Red Tram a block away you can get anywhere easily. The free WiFi is nice. The restaurant is pretty good, Nice selection of beer and wine and food options to fit most appetites and budgets.

Great staff, helpful and polite. Parking was a bit difficult. But, the location is one of the best in Dublin, walk everywhere.

The Hilton Garden Inn Dublin Custom House was a very nice hotel. The lobby was very modern and provided ample spots to connect to power outlets and usb ports. The breakfast was always good. The rooms were ok the only thing that wasn't good is that you have to figure out how to turn off the heat yourself and figure out how to turn on the air. Over all very nice.

Rooms are fine, hotel is fine. Ive only been staying on 4th floor, which can be a bit noisy for the light-sleepers. Personally, no complaints. Breakfast is fine too. Would not sleep here for 150 a night tho.

I have been in 5 star hotels that were worse. The Hilton Garden Inn is a very clean and professional hotel. The staff is very well trained and friendly. I especially want to mention the thoughtfulness of the room cleaning crew. Definitely would stay there again!
