Very nice and clean hotel. Very nice rooms. Eating and shopping close by. Unfortunately not very close to the hop on hop off bus line (about a mile and a half away) outside of the downtown, which is nice unless you want the downtown for sightseeing and nicer restaurants. Nice service too, quick check in

Rip off prices and small portions bar menu. Had a steak sandwich which was 2 inches long and a centimeter wide, like shoe leather and cold chips for 17.50. Complained and told well it is a minute steak!!!also charge €2 for a drop of lime to a soda water. Don't mind paying but food terrible and tiny portions.

Herbert park is a great hotel, lovely rooms and lovely staff. Bar prices aren't too bad either. Can't comment on the food as we ate elsewhere.

What a beautiful place to stay. Such friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is beautiful. Food is amazing. Warm and friendly. Security is just excellent. I have stayed in a lot of hotels..this for me is my favourite. Great prices.
Everything is at your door step. We planned on staying one night we ended up staying for the weekend. I didn't want to leave here.response / report this review -

Very nice hotel next to a lovely park. Staff very friendly and positive. Perfect location for the Aviva Stadium only 5-10 mins walk away.

This hotel is very nice but feels a bit dated. All beds seem to be twin beds, bigger beds are just two twin beds pushed together. The mattresses feel old and are very hard.
Staff is extremely nice and helpful. The hotel and all common areas are very clean. They will exchange most currencies for Euro at the front desk for a very good rate, though they won't take big bills.
Area has good food and night life. I highly recommend Mary Mac's and The Bridge which are both just a few minutes walk away.
It is a short taxi ride to most areas in Dublin.response / report this review -
