Spent two nights in Clifden, ate at Guy's both nights. Couldn't find a better price for a meal and the food was great. Good atmosphere as well.

Excellent lunch. Place was packed but service was quick. We had the prawns and crab meat wrap and their roast of the day. Lovely place.

Good food and child friendly. In the evenings, it is definitely more of a restaurant than bar and as they don't take bookings, you can expect a bit of a wait but overall the food was worth it. The crab and prawn salad was excellent. Friendly service and goods pints (try the local bridewell blonde).

We were staying next door so we ate at Guys for convenience. It was very crowded ( as is every pub in Clifton this week) so we waited for a table. Unfortunately there's not a lot of space at the bar so waiting means squeezing in between the tables or standing around like a shag on a rock. We were lucky that we didn't have to wait too long - there were people after us who were still standing after we'd finished our meal. Once seated the service was fast and friendly. I had the fish pie. Tasty but more sure than fish. My husband and son had the ribs which they enjoyed. The chips were pretty bland but the salad was plentiful and delicious.

For me, best restaurant in town.. if you can get a table. In peak season you'll have a wait! but worth it.

Great place for a pint. Friendly staff, great food, and not bad for babies. They have a high chair and free mash for the baby. Bathrooms are really nice for a pub.

Recently had lunch and ordered the house burger. Great value for money and excellent quality. Also decent side salad/coleslaw on plate (not like other places) that you could enjoy. Please keep up the good quality and I'll be happy to visit again.
