Very quaint and pleasant cafe. The food was a delicious. The staff were indifferent though and besides taking our order no one acknowledged us. Didnt even get drinks. We got our own bill after an hour and payed while they talked to themselves
I had a full Irish breakfast and It was delicious. Staff is OK and good service too.
We heard great things about the award-winning Griffins but found it pretty unremarkable. The breakfast in the restaurant was fine, but nothing exceptional, and the service wasn't great. Possibly the breads and cakes in the bakery (They were out of the ones we ordered.) are more compelling.
Their bread is the best in town. The are famous for the long sourdough bread they sell and use in their plates and sandwiches. Irish breakfast is nice but you can call in even and afternoon a tea or coffee.
Great place for a casual breakfast with a good selection to choose from the bakery or the kitchen. The main dinning room is upstairs. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
Very well known Baker, and little known Cafe. Just try their Princess Fingers with your favourite cuppa!
Tiny little bakery with great breads and cakes. Good place for tea and pastry
Very tasty baked goods. Best bagel I have ever had in Northern Ireland!
Great all day breakfast and very nice place
Amazing baked goods! The tea room has a warm crackling fire, and the staff is quite kind :)
Great little bakery with seating upstairs. We enjoyed breakfast and the quick service. The warm fire was a nice extra.
Sourdough Bread, both traditional SF style & with seaweed!
Order anything with the sourdough bread and you should be happy. Delicious. I had Janice's grilled chicken special.
Had a cappuccino which was really good.
It was open before 12 on a Sunday morning which is a huge bonus in my book. Almost every single other store is closed at that time. Great place to get something to eat. One of the best in the city.
Absolutely in my top 5 personal favourites in the country. Price isn't a complete rip off like some other places in the city and plenty of places in Dublin. I was really hungry at the time which can warp the judgement of the taste buds*. (Totally not a scientist or doctor so don't quote me on that.)
If you have never tried it give it a go and i strongly recommend that sourdough bread. I couldn't believe that the bread tasted nicer than the chicken.
