Attended the 3:30pm guided tour with the wonderful Grainne. It was so interesting. Grainne has a wealth of knowledge. We felt we had definitely been shown the best sites in the graveyard. I learned a lot on the tour and enjoyed it very much. It was great craic altogether. Then on for a few pints in the Gravediggers!!! Great day out for all

Beautiful place that is right next to the National Botanical Gardens. It has impressive monuments, is the burial site of many important Irish historical figures (particularly from the Easter Rising and War of Independence), has interesting 90 minute guided tours, and has a small onsite museum. Far exceeded expectations, highly recommend this as part of any trip to Dublin.

On a sunny day it's a nice stroll load of Irish history also not far from botanic gardens combine the two for a nice day

Interesting spot. Tour is a must have to get some historical knowledge about this amazing place in Glasnevin.There are gates built now- you can pass to Botanic Gardens straight away

Very interesting spot full of Irish history. The café is very nice and has a wide range of pastries, excellent sandwiches and the full breakfast is also good (make sure you're hungry).

Amazing place and very knowledgeable wonderful tour guide. All the famous people of Irish history are buried here, all with unique stories that are brought to life -- ironically -- in this cemetery. Great for all weather. Rain and fog brings a neat atmosphere. Centre has a lovely shop and good restaurant/cafe. Worth the trip out! And very close to Botanical Gardens and within the same region as Croke Park for a lovely day excursion if visiting.

Well worth a visit whether you're a tourist or a Dublin local. Be sure to go on one of the guided tours. The guides are excellent and there are actors that perform reenactments. There is a back gate that leads into the Botanic Gardens and another gate nearby that is near the famous Kavanagh's pub. The cemetery cafe serves good quality food.
