This weekend sees the return of a beloved Games Workshop system in the form of Adeptus Titanicus. We'll be carrying the full range as it releases on Saturday the 18th of August, including the Grandmaster Edition which has everything you need to get started.
We'll be selling the Grandmaster Edition for 200 euro. These are limited and as far as we're aware it could be a very long time before they get printed again.
As part of this drop in price from the RRP, we won't be giving loyalty card stamps for it. So if you're interested in getting one, get in touch :)

We've got two notices for everybody as we get into the winter months full of long nights and getting ready for presents and the like.
1) We do not have an endless supply of tables and space to cater to all of you so pleaseplease book tables in advance.
How do you book tables? Send us a message on Facebook, drop into the shop, email us or call us on our shop landline.
2) All orders are held for two weeks, no longer. We understand that you're trying to prepare as best you can and situations can and will change. We are unable to hold onto things forever so if you're not able to pick it up within two weeks and don't contact us we'll return it to the shelf.
So if something comes up, let us know and we'll do our best to sort you out one way or the other :)

Came here with my friend to an Extreme Forces Sneak Peek (managed to pack Excode, and Hey, Trunade!). The shopkeeper was so nice as to gift us each playmats on the day. Overall friendly atmosphere, definitely going to try and make sure to visit again on the next sneak peek.

I've browsed in on numerous occasions during the years and really appreciate the relaxed atmosphere where I can have a look without the stock being pushed on me. When I've asked for assistance the staff have been nothing but excellent and you get an honest opinion accompanied by expert advice on all the game systems.
I've often received helpful advice on everything from 40k to Warmahordes to painting to background fluff, but the perfect example of the great attitude in the store/community was the recent Conquest tournament in August. A friend showed me and my 12 year old nephew how to play only the previous day. We drove up Sunday morning, bought our core sets on the day and were helped at every turn with preparing for, and playing the tournament. Experienced gamers helped us create our decks and everyone present showed great patience as we got to grips with the game in a tournament setting. We had an absolutely great day and the staff were very good to us, giving an extra spot prize to my nephew as the youngest participant and I even received a 'wooden spoon' prize for finishing last! It was a fantastic day and we're looking forward to the next Conquest tournament.response / report this review -

I was in your shop earlier today and was waiting in the queue to be served, there was one person been served in front of me and taking a while while I was waiting a group of people join the queue and when it was my turn I was skipped over. It felt to me that I was been ignored in a very rude and unprofessional manner. This is not the first time I've been treated in this way. I haven't been playing mtg or 40k for long and lack probably a lot of knowledge but I do not feel I need to be ridiculed over my lack of said knowledge. I, at times dread walking into your store in case this occurs. Some of the staff are very helpful without been rude and unprofessional but they are few. This is not how you should treat your customers in such a niche market.

I love board and card games. Gamers Word has a big selection and there's something for everyone. I'm a big Munchkin fan and this shop has a lot of sets and expansion packs to choose from. Staff is very nice and helpful. I would even dare to say that this is the best game shop in Dublin!

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, not to mention welcoming and always happy to see you.
Their stock is wide and varied and they keep up to date with the latest packs for card games and such. By far Th single best place for non pc/console gamers in dublin.
I get all my dice and card game stuff here and there range of board games are brilliant too so they have a lot of stuff that would be great for the hole family too. Like munchkin for example. So i'd highly recommend this shop to parents looking for games to enjoy with their kids, especially come Christmas time. Weather you have a large or small budget for gifts this shop, and it's staff will really help you cater to what you are looking for.response / report this review -

Im new the hobby world. only at it a year or two but these guys have most of money and its for a good reason too. They're the best I've come across. Staff are fantastic, know what theyre talking about and aren't pushing one brand on you. Also a big plus for them is that they don't try costumer hump you when you walk in the door. Youre allowed to walk around make up your own mind. Great range in products and also an excellent place to gate a game going. The loyalty card scheme rocks and the staff always have the best advice.

Great selection and prices are excellent compared to what you find online. Staff can be slow to get recommendations off/help from but it's a nice environment to browse, buy and play games. Go to a pre-release here. Well organised and great craic!

I was at the store for the first time yesterday. I was there for an Armada tournament. First impressions of the store was it had a great storefront display and a well stocked and varied supply of gaming system on offer. The first staff member I met greeted me and helped my mother in law inside as she is disabled. The gaming space and facility's offered was also quite good. I really look forward to visiting again soon.

I love gamers world. It's simply a great place to be and everyone is very tightly knit. When I first started going there I felt like I was being a burden to serve but I don't anymore. I guess everyone has there bad days.
My first time experience is why it's not a full 5 stars.
Also I wish there was more space. There was times that I would have to leave early because the place was too full. Anyways, it's still a great place.response / report this review -

Best in Dublin for 40k. Helpful and friendly staff that don't give you the hard sell. The loyalty card scheme they run is great too; stamped cards are the preferred gambling currency of our gaming group.
