Daryl is a gem. I've chartered boats all over Ireland and Daryl is the most hands-on Skipper I've been out with. I often take complete novices and kids with me and Daryl gives them all lessons and helps them through the day. He's really attentive and makes the day as best as it can be. He has no problem motoring all over the bay to make sure as many fish as possible are caught. Wouldn't hesitate in sending anyway his way for a great day on Sligo bay.

An amazing experience. Daryl the skipper is an absolute gentleman and is vastly experienced in what he does. He caters for the novice as well as the expert and his in depth knowledge of fish and the local region is second to none. He gives you all the time you need to start catching fish and the best tips and pointers too. All in all a really fun and memorable day out and would highly recommend him to anyone!

I have fished all over the world, deep sea, sport and inshore but my day on Sligo Bay with skipper Daryl Ewing was one of the highlights. His encyclopaedic knowledge of the waters was both impressive and precise, when he asked us 'now who'd like to catch Ling'? then brought us straight to the drop, and big Ling were landed almost immediately. Great website made our options clear and understandable, allowing for day, half day or evening sailings.
He even has a relationship with the local restaurant, which can allow you to 'cook your catch' the day it was caught.

All in all, the complete package! Well done Skipper.

I have been out with Daryl on two separate occasions. Both times were wonderful. I wouldn't be a natural on the sea or at fishing but Daryl gave me all the tips I needed to stay nausea free and to make it look as if I could fish for a living!
Being out on the sea is an experience in itself alone but the whole experience with Ewing's Sea Angling and Boat Charters was second to none. I can also probably say that the same opinion can be expressed by the rest of the parties on-board as they spoke enthusiastically afterwards about the trips. Some of those parties are regularly charter Daryl which I suppose speaks volumes for the service he provides.
I for one would not hesitate to recommend the service to anyone wishing to go fishing or cruising.

I love fishing although I don't get to go out as often as I would like. Daryl is always so accommodating and I always have a great time. I've never stepped off his boat without a fish in hand. His local knowledge of the best spots to fish is invaluable and it makes the experience all that more special. Be it beginner or pro you are sure to have a great time fishing with Daryl.
