What a fantastic experience staying in this beautiful place, everything from start to finish was outstanding, way beyond expectations. Dj and Susan the owners are lovely friendly hospitibal people, all the staff and food was lovely. Can't thank DJ enough for allowing us to experience his home . Highly recommend a stay to everyone - couples, families, solo travellers alike. Wonderful to know pooch friendly and any shape, size and amount welcome. We will most definitely be back with our pooches.

When i arrived at the etate i was blown away with the grounds and woods surrounding the main house. I was greeted with open arms from the wonderful host DJ and his mother Susan. The house has been beautifully maintained with the rich family and property history on proud display. The staff on site were very knowledgeable of each room, and the history of every painting to every table. It was like stepping back into the 1800's. The one thing that took me by surprise was the way you were welcomed, not as a guest but as a distant family member (the words "our home is you're home" ) and that for me showed hospitality above and beyond i've ever experienced.

If you want to have an escape away from the outside world and to experience something special during your time in Ireland i highly recommend a stay in Enniscoe.

From the lake shore to the multiple forests, to the ornamental garden and the organic garden the site is huge and you will find something new to discover.

This is, without doubt, one of my favorite places to stay in the West of Ireland. We have stayed on different occasions in the past ten years and have booked rooms both in the main house and in one of the self-catering cottages (lovely conversions from the old stables) in the back- perfect for families. Susan Kellett is a gracious hostess- warm, accommodating and helpful. The home itself is a beautiful step back in history and the grounds are gorgeous. Fantastic walks all around and great fishing at the doorstep. The self-catering cottages are extremely comfortable with kitchens kitted out to enable all manner of cooking. The week we spent in one left little to be desired. Despite now having a holiday home of our own in Mayo, we still turn to Enniscoe House when we want a truly memorable escape.
