Stopped in on New Years Eve and had a delicious meal and drinks with friends. Stayed on to ring in the New Year in the bar, with great music and complimentary finger food. They even had party hats. Friendly welcoming bar with attentive staff and great bar food.

Sept. 2016. Wonderful food and staff. The owner and some locals were having a pint at the bar and enjoyed joking with them. Gracious people. Beautiful country.

I've eaten a few times in Eddie's bistro while passing through the village of Clonbur. There is a main restaurant and then a pub/bistro also. Very friendly staff and a wide selection of main courses. Last time I visited there were 9 main courses, including beef, lamb, turkey, Irish stew, cod, salmon, Thai curry, vegatarian option etc. A choice of about 6 starters and 4 desserts. The ice-cream is exceptionally nice. Highly recommended for straightfoward, hearty food. There is also an open fire which was very welcoming on the cold January day I visited.

The best hotel in the west for anglers wanting to fish corrib or mask. Ideally situated with great rooms, super food and a cosy bar..
