I have been attending the dental hygienist named Hollie in Cork Dental Care over the past 2 or so years. As someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy trips to the dentist, Hollie makes me feel so at ease the minute I step through the door. She is both professional and friendly . I’m always thrilled with how my teeth feel and look after my trip to the dental hygienist. She is so attentive and gentle in her practice , and I wouldn’t think of going to anyone else !

Great experience here getting 6 month smile braces. Very professional and a lovely team to deal with. Very honest and upfront about all aspects of my treatment. Also very competitive prices for what I needed to get done 😊

Can't recommend this practice highly enough, quick, easy and a very caring team. Dr Emma and her colleague Liz did a very good job when extracting my wisdom teeth. Very professional and very helpful, will definitely be back again.

A special thanks to Dr. Grania O Connell for her amazing work, her attention to detail is superb. She will go above and beyond for you and makes you feel so at ease during every visit. last year I went to this place. They told me that they need to do 4 separate session of periodontal treatment (each 60 euro) for just cleaning my teeth. Each session would require anesthesia to make the gum numb. I did the cleaning in another place with 45 euro without anesthesia.

Great experience. Was going in as their price was much cheaper than my own dentist for a crown. Great atmosphere. Really friendly and capable staff at the front desk. Dr. Emma didn't even charge me as it was my first visit. Gorgeous setup, really relaxed.more like a spa than a dentist. Would definitely recommend them :)

The actual Dentists here are great. The receptionist is awful though.

I recently made an appointment to see them for a checkup and as I'm wearing braces I had seen them less than 6 months ago because I get checked more often due to the brace.

The receptionist made the appointment and never mentioned they had moved premises you'd think it would be standard practice for at least the first year after a move to let people know that. A lot of people will only see the dentist once a year, and in my case it had only been 5 months. Although subsequently I did notice it was mentioned at the bottom of the confirmation SMS text. But my phone (iphone) only displays the first few lines of a message unless you open it and read it, so I never saw the bit about the move.

Then when I arrived at the old premises, I realised they'd moved and phoned the reception She answered the phone and then didn't say anything and just put it beside her on the desk or something. I could hear her talking to someone else in the background. I waited for a while and was never even acknowledged on the phone. I called back a second time and got the same result and then a third time on the third call she actually said " Hello Cork Dental, can you please hold?" I said yes I can, but i just need to know where you guys have moved to and I can be on my way to you but she'd already put the phone down and I could hear her carrying on the conversation again. Bearing in mind I was standing on the street outside the old premises this whole time and was in good time for my appointment but was thinking I might be late now as I didn't know how far the new place was. I then read the confirmation text and figured it out thankfully it was only a 2 min walk.

The checkup the dentist was lovely as always, but it turned out I'd need a filling, but I didn't have time to get it done right away. So I made an appointment with the receptionist for the following Tuesday at 09:40 I asked the receptionist twice what time the appointment was for and she confirmed it was 09:40 and I put a reminder into my phone while I was still at the counter.

On Tuesday morning it took me ages to Park and afterwards walked as
fast as I could to the premises, but I arrived at 09:50, ten mins late and completely my own fault. However when I got there the receptionist told me my appointment was at 09:30 and they were too busy to see me now as they had someone in at 10:00. This was only partially my fault, as I was still late for the 09:40 appointment, but I certainly wasn't 20 mins late.

She told me they could see me after lunch if I wanted to, but I'd already driven up from Fermoy and didn't have 3 hours to spare. I declined and asked for the Dentist to call me herself later so I could tell her about what happened. I never got a call back.

Long story short, I'm going to another dentist now as I really don't have time for this nonsense. I had my whole day planned around this appointment. I'm too busy to be "hanging around" all day, or to be driving to Cork to see a dentist only to find the receptionist has made the appointment for the wrong time.

I cannot recommend this dental practice enough, they are very friendly, caring, gentle and make you feel relaxed. I had a dental emergency and a friend told me about Cork dental Care, so I called up made an appointment at a time that was convenient to me. I was made feel relaxed and this important as I had a bad experience with a dentist when i was 9 years old ( now in my forties) Emma was the dentist that treated me.
