Trains almost always arrive at the schedule they indicate, good service.

Services generally run within the limits of the phrase "on time", though overcrowding on local services is a serious issue not just on board the trains, but on platforms. Toilet facilities are by no means fancy, but maintained to acceptable standards. There is an (overpriced) bookshop/newsagents, pharmacy, coffee kiosk, restaurant and adequate seating (prior to the gates) in the main terminal area. The ticket machines are frequently home to a large queue during busy periods as, are the ticket windows, which are normally only staffed by one person. Security and staff are present at the turnstiles and during the day customer assistance staff are also available, often on the ground as well as behind the customer service desk.

Well connected station - trains to North and North West, Luas to city centre though there is no car park.

Sometimes there are a few 'characters' around that might make you feel uncomfortable.

Traveled with my older Sister Ursula, from Connolly Street station to Belfast Central, to meet our Brother. The Staff , first of all in the Information Booth were so very helpful and courteous. He went out of his way to help us. The next Guy we met as we went wait for the train , kindly took a Photo of us . Thank you Guys for making our day even better.

Ireland's busiest railway station. Well kept, good clean toilets and helpful staff. Luas directly outside

Great station, with Intercity train services to Belfast,Wexford and Sligo. It also has great suburban services around the Dublin commuter area. The trains can sometimes get delayed approaching Connolly, due to high frequency train services. The station, also has Luas/tram services to the west city and later connections to the Luas/tram green line. The station is within walking distance of Busarus bus station, which Bus Éireann operate buses from. The station was opened in 1844,by the D&DR,and was later extended to Pearse in 1891.It was originally known as Amiens Street, and was renamed to Connolly in 1966.In 1984,Connolly station was electrified, with the introduction of DART trains. In the 1990's,the station was majorly upgraded, adding new shops, resturants, waiting rooms and ticketing areas. Finally, the Luas/tram stop was built, destroying the drop off ramp.

Concessions a bit grimy. Could do with giving the two on the left in the main hall a good scrub especially in corners. Staff not overly helpful. Big improvements compared to years ago though when it was cold and filthy. Toilets are ok considering the throughout of people.

Right across from North Star Hotel, so it's convenient if you're staying there. Decent enough - not dodgy as others say. Clean and well lit. Attendants are helpful.
