Wonderful place to stay. The house was beautiful, well maintained and really warm. The grounds were the same. There was loads of food stocked in the kitchen and toiletries available for guests. We stayed for a hen weekend, The owners did everything they could to make our stay really special, including a horse and carriage ride. They had no problems with noise from us partying and were able to suggest a beautiful restaurant to go to and a minibus company to shuttle us around.

100% would stay there again.

We stayed at Clonkill Manor for my friends Hen Party. All I can say is it was the perfect place and we had a fabulous time. Carmel is lovely to deal with from the start, helpful with advice for things to do, places to eat etc. and nothing is too much trouble. When we arrived to the house we got a lovely surprise to see how roomy it is, with all double rooms en-suite, towels, dressing robs & slippers in the bathrooms, some toiletries, a fully stocked fridge and a lovely welcome card & gift - all such lovely touches! We stayed in on the Friday night and the downstairs sitting room (of which there are two) was perfect for a chilled evening. A separate kitchen and dining room allowed us to cater for the big group each morning, with the items from the fully stocked fridge. It was also close enough to Mullingar for our activity at Victorian Escapade and our night out. We had people travelling from all over Ireland and everyone commented on how wonderful the house was. All in all a perfect location for a large group, private, cosy and really welcoming. I would 100% recommend Clonkill Manor, absolutely fabulous!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Clonkill manor house! Carmel was a gracious host and went above and beyond providing essentials for our stay. The rooms were clean and the house was comfortable, perfect for our large group. The kitchen was stocked with delicious food and it had all the tools to cook up a meal. The property was picturesque and provided the most quintessential place to stay in Ireland complete with horses and beautiful flowers. I would recommend this house for anyone wanting the perfect place to stay in Ireland!

Clonkill House was a great experience for my whole family! Spacious and a great place for my family. My children loved playing on the trampoline and got to visit the horses everyday. A fantastic place for large groups. We had 9 stay comfortably and we had more room for others if we wanted to. Carmel was a great hostess who thought about our every need. She stocked our fridge and bathrooms with everything we needed and more. The house was clean and near enough to Dublin for easy access to all that we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

Carmel's Clonkill House is nothing but a great experience for a larger group. We were there for merely 4 days but the accommodations were outstanding! Everything is thought of, from toothbrushes, to bottled water in every room to plush bathrobes and slippers (if you forget yours at home). The rooms are clean and the showers are powerful and have plenty of hot water. There were 9 of us staying there and we had plenty of room and yet enough space to eat breakfast all together comfortably. Carmel thoughtfully stocked the fridge for us and if there was ever a need or concern, Carmel is there to assist, yet remains unobtrusive. The whole experience was definitely memorable and I would highly recommend her home to anyone wanting a nice respite in a calming environment. I hope to stay there again!

A perfect country side stay in Ireland even for a larger group. Carmel's house is absolutely lovely. A very clean and well equipped house in a nice rural area. Every room has his own bad. We have enjoyed our stay at this lovely house and the perfekt hospitality. Thank very much for everything.
