  Most of what you said in your response was fabricated or exaggerated. Exactly what I would expect from you after the state you left me in in the first place. No other options were given to me. I did not force your dentist to attempt to cement it back into place. I asked and they decided on their plan of action. The work was not done in Bulgaria. This "crack" I experienced a year ago was a feeling that something cracked than an evident crack, there was no crack visible. I didn't go because that crack was in the root which I was unaware of. As I stated I was nervous going so this added to my waiting. I made the appointment as that was when it became obvious
  I arranged an emergency dental appointment with Callan Dental the day before I was off on honeymoon as my bridge and crown had broken. Which I had to pay a €40 deposit over the phone for. I had intended to go to Callan Dental once I returned anyway as I needed a number of things done, so going to hopefully mend this seemed like the logical thing to do. Upon arrival I explained exactly what the problem was. They didn't look at my tooth, just sent me for an x-ray. They had a look at the x-ray and sent me back upstairs. They talked amongst themselves and decided that they should get another opinion on how to approach the matter. Still not having taken a look at the tooth. When the other dentist came in I explained the situation again but she tried to tell me that I was wrong. Eventually I had to remove the tooth to show her exactly what I was talking about.They decide on their plan of action and the third dentist left. After trying once to fix the bridge and playing around with my gum for an hour the dentist said she wanted to return to talk to the previous dentist. Up until this point I felt like the pain and discomfort and embarrassment that I had been feeling would be worth it in the end because I could just get a temporary fix for my problem and fix it properly when I returned. The dentist returned and told me that I could remove the cotton swab from my mouth. This is when the panic set in. In so many words she told me that they couldn't fix the problem. Not only that but now my bridge no longer fit into my mouth so I was left to walk out of there with my cracked bridge in my hand and missing two teeth in the front of my mouth. I was in a worse position leaving than I was when I came in. Never in a million years did I think I could possible walk out of there worse off than when I went in but unfortunately that is exactly what happened. She tried to tell me that there is someone local here in Kilkenny that if I rang that I might be able to get him to make me a fake tooth to replace the broken crown. Bearing in mind that I was to fly out very early the next morning. At the point I was in floods of tears and I asked the dentist if she could call down to reception and arrange whatever I owed so that I could just pay and get out of there. She told me that I didn't owe anything this time. This was little compensation for the state I was leaving in. I can honestly say that it was one of, if not, the most traumatic things that has ever happened to me. To be left in such a ridiculous position the day before my honeymoon. I honestly wish I had never set foot in there. Which is unfortunate as so many people swear by Callan. Including my own husband. I was fully sure that I would be well looked after and I would be put at ease as they have a great reputation for this. I found it to be the very opposite. I hope I can work up the courage to go to an alternative dentist now in order to fix the things that need to be done. I wouldn't feel comfortable going back to Callan knowing that there's a possibility that at any given time that I could leave worse off than I arrived. As a follow up I tried ringing the alternative that they gave me. I rang the number twenty or thirty times to absolutely no avail. I was left to try to fix the situation on my own. I'd like to add that the two ladies that I dealt with were perfectly nice but my overall experience of the place was horrendous.

  Many thanks to all these very professionals and wonderful people in Callan dental who take care of you and make you feel so relaxed. I don't have the fear of dentist any more. So much different than years ago. Many many thanks to you all.

  Fantastic practice if you are a nervous patient like me. All the staff are so welcoming. I would highly recommend this practice.

  I am very nervous patient, and found the staff very nice and very friendly. They made me feel relaxed and very comfortable. I am delighted with the work I got done and would recommend this clinic to family and friends. brilliant clinic for nervous people.
