Brought visitors for a dinner out and was disappointed with the overcooked lamb that was the special of the day. In addition, the steaks we're overcooked and had to be sent back. Fortunately the desserts we're beautiful.

We stayed one night in the Cahir House Hotel during our honeymoon. The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful; very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located in the town square with several pubs, a cafe, and the castle within easy walking distance. Parking was free. Our room had a beautiful view of the castle. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and in good repair. We enjoyed our stay very much and would be happy to stay there again.

A beautiful old building just a few minute's walk away from Cahir Castle. The rooms are quite basic, and far from modern, but clean, and comfortable enough. The bathroom had dispensers for body wash and soap and, thankfully, the shower was hot and strong. Is the old shower over a bathtub with a curtain setup, though. There's free WiFi, although not the fastest. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast is well worth it; you get a cooked full Irish breakfast with black and white pudding, and a buffet of cereals, fruit, juices and breads. Overall it was a pleasant stay and good value.
