Had lunch here last Sunday and was wondering why the place had only 8 people it it at 2.30 in the afternoon, was not long before i found out why, the carvery was a mess turkey and beef on one unit which was ok but all the bits of both were scattered all over the unit, we ordered chicken chasseur with potato and veg, this was dumped on the plate, all in a heap with no care taken at all, it's not like they were in a hurry or there was a queue, they just didn't care, A new chef and a couple of carvery chefs who know what they are doing and know how to plate a meal and most important know how to speak to customers.
Styling for the checkout and food area is good and some interesting things on the walls. The seats go almost all around the railing up stairs. The seats in those areas are garbage. Really old furniture. There is one area where the seats are OK. The coffee branded area. The pricing isn't the best and the quality of the food is terrible. 2 euro for a stale, rough exteriored muffin. The coffees are universally garbage. All of them. Been here three times, felt robbed and left disappointed every time. Nothing great about it. Way better places to go nearby. Jenny's kitchen, more @ grennans, Quigleys, cafe q, chocolate brown or one of the other eateries around the town, way better quality and value for money. This place only survives because of its convenience, location is its only big point. Nothing else going for it. Don't waste your money.
