Well situated on the main street in Tullamore, the staff are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My only criticism is it needs upgrading, the rooms are small and not much to them. We stayed in room 5 at the front of the hotel and as the room is so small we had to keep the window open as it was so hot, the traffic noise went on most of the night. Friends of mine stayed in room 9 at the back of the hotel and all though the room was small it was quiet and they got a great nights sleep. All in all it is in a great spot and it's clean but basic. Just a note to say there are a lot of stairs to climb as it's a strange layout and if you have mobility problems you would need to tell them when booking as I am not sure if there are ground floor rooms.

Great food, great service (Mary was incredibly helpful and friendly) spotlessly clean. I would recommend The Townhouse to anyone visiting Tullamore.

Stayed here last evening. Wonderful food, warm cosy rooms with lots of soft towels, Very clean. The staff were excellent and Ryan the Manager made our stay most enjoyable. a 5 star experience in a 3 star hotel.
I recommond this Hotel to anyone for food or an overnight stay.
